Hey folks, here's a little impro over a great tune by Herbie Hancock. Hope you like it :) Fusion licks here: jamtrackcentral.com/store/jam... Jazz licks here: jamtrackcentral.com/store/jam...
I wish I could have the skills to play like you man. You, Tom Quayle, Martin Miller, Jack Gardiner and Guthrie are my top people to listen to. Inspirational.
Fantastic - the intricate "not just basic runs / arpeggiation" with drifting around key / scale is top notch. Nice mix of "blued notes" and outright different scale notes I think, too. E.g., (very brief) ~29s, ~55s+, 1:09s (love the note at the sort of phrase end here)... Also, very nice technique and some interesting patterns towards the very end. Great stuff, thanks for sharing!
0:29, 0:55, 1:07 (Can't seem to edit previous comment but figure proper time codes might be useful to some - also, the last time listed in prior comment was off by a couple of seconds or so)
