thanks for the lyrics first and foremost, but i think its meant to be "drugs and crime spreading on the streets" in the 4th verse and " now our kids CAN'T go out to play".. makes more sense.. i wouldnt want my kids to go play out on the street where crime and drugs are prevelant.. Amen. Whoever mic’d those drums and mixed everything down needs a pay rise. The reverb on vocals, keys, guitar, drums and bass are all different. Perfect balance. Nice bottom end on the vocals, still kept the vocals out front, while still sharing the 10k-20k hertz.

That's the struggle. He can always come home. I know several traveling musicians who make sure they are back at home so they can be in church Sunday morning. Besides I have yet to hear him play a song that promoted anything negative.

Hey everyone ! Happy Friday ! Back in 9/16/19 I l I emailed chris cherish harbach regarding the mix Here was His response “Phinees Robert, Wow, what a nice message to check this morning. Thank you for your attention to detail and interest in this sound. First and foremost, the final product was a group effort -- I did the mic's, FOH live mix, and Pro Tools multitrack recording, but Chandler Harrod mixed the multitrack at Capital. Hats off to him for always dialing in every element so tastefully. As for my role -- this particular event is always challenging because of the "in the round" set up. There is usually multiple drum kits patched in (for the jam and bands before headline act) which is why this drum set up is so minimal! Not a ton of time to change over between bands, so we normally just strike entire setups instead to rearranging and adding mics to other places. I believe the drum sound came from: kick - e602 snare top - SM57 all toms - SM57s mono overhead - c414 (cardioid / hyper) I use all of the dynamics/EQ available per channel on the Yamaha CL-5, then send signal pre fader to Pro Tools. Obviously, Cory Henry and his band of genius' make it quite a bit easier to sound so tight! Thanks again, and have a great week! -Chris “ What an awesome human being!I pray everyone is elevated ! They cant really hear them during live, only thru amps and such that's why it wasnt as hyped. You can even see Cory Henry signaling the tech to turn him up on the house. They do this so that the tech can get a really good signal without too much bleed from the microphones

I watch this at least once a week. The vibe, the artistry, the genius that is Corey Henry. Lawwwwwwwd have mercy. He's anointed for sure. And his band. Hallelujah.
