The narrator was perfect! I’d say the leading couple also fulfilled their roles perfectly. The two leading characters are the most down-to-earth and naturally develop chemistry despite the fantastical comedy and chaos weaved in and around them, which is intentional. They’re the anchors of the show. It also keeps the show from getting too saturated. On the other hand, the narrator has a different role - meant to be exceptionally funny and is. Just because they have different roles doesn't mean that one slays less. The show balanced the heightened drama and ridiculous, well-timed humor with genuine, relatable emotional beats. Even the costumes were just right. The make-up, hair, and clothing are easy on the eyes and beautiful. Yet there’s also a comedy element to some of the costumes 😂

just out of curiosity, were the writers in any way engaged in making the series? because i do not believe they would allow like half of it to happen, let alone the male narrator (as a fan of the book i am a bit pissed that basically all they left from it is the horse - and even his name is changed)
