[Jane Eyre 1973] Shattered

There's something incredibly charming about this 1973 rendition of Jane Eyre. I'm not quite sure I can put in words what I found so endearing about it, so instead, I made a video. I hope it speaks for itself. I only wish I could've been more original about my song choice but there ya go.

Feel so lucky to discover the 1973 version. There was a good chemistry b/w the actors. I especially love Michael Jayston's play as Rochester. After centuries, the story is still so inspirational, so touching, so true about what real love is.

This is so beautifully edited! I adore this version, it is simply the best. Wondering why YT has been blocking this adaptation for so long, for no reason, it should be public domain after 50 years. This is the main reason why people don't know anything about how wonderful it is and this is such a pity. The best Mr. Rochester. Electrifying chemistry. Great Jane, just as portrayed in the book.

I think that only goes for static images. For films and tv shows, copyright protection is much longer. I think it's about 95 years.

You're welcome, it was fun to make! I wish more people would find this version. Michael Jayston's Mr Rochester is my favorite rendition of the character alongside with Toby Stephen's version.

MovieMadd111 , I am with you! The 1973 version is my favorite too, with 2006 in 2nd place. Wonderful fan video. Perfect song for the perfect romance 💕
