Gracias por el lindo comentario. Me encantan las películas checas y, en general, de Europa del Este, son muy buenas pero nadie las conoce. El problema con los subtítulos es que YT no reconoce el idioma checo, por lo que no hay subtítulos automáticos disponibles. Hay una adaptación muy bonita de Jane Eyre, hecha en España, en 1971, la subí a mi otro canal. Me sorprende que esta versión en Español no sea conocida y no apreciada tanto como debería. Rafael Arcos es uno de los mejores Mr. Rochester, sin duda.

Já též mám tohle zpracování nejraději. Herečka marta vančurová je křehké, něžné stvoření, ona roli jany eyrové ztvárnila opravdu dokonale. Rovněž i pan jan kačer a ostatní herci a herečky, hudba, kostýmy, kulisy...... Je to mistrovsky zpracované literární dílo.

Si seulement je pouvais ajouter des sous-titres... j'ai tout essayé mais le fichier de sous-titres que j'ai est désynchronisé. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi YT ne reconnaît pas toutes les langues. yt ne reconnaît que quelques langues de plus grande diffusion.

I would love to be able to just read along, this seems like a very detailed and potential faithful adaptation and I’d love to have the dialogue on hand just to piece together more

@@aric.2322 Thank you for your comment, but unfortunately there was just a subtitle file in Czech, extracted from the audio and of course I tried to convert it into English and upload it but the result was awful, the subs were very bad and completely out of sync. Felt very discouraged and deleted the file. You can try too, from the audio, but I guess a very good translating programme would be needed (I couldn't find any, tried three different programmes). :( I don't understand why YT doesn't recognise every language and provide subtitles, as they should. Only languages of larger circulation are recognised by YT.

Bonjour, je viens de voir que YT propose désormais des sous-titres automatiques pour cela (et pour le Grec Jane Eyre aussi), j'ai donc fait une traduction automatique en anglais et je l'ai téléchargée, le résultat n'est pas génial, mais de toute façon c'est mieux que ce que j'avais avant et c'est synchronisé. Quand je trouverai un bon programme de traduction, j'en créerai un meilleur.

@@mrrochesterfan Well, you are right about that😊 I'm not familiar with the Apps used for closed caption translations, but the one for this video used what I would imagine is a 'universally' profane word in the scene when Jane first met Ad`ele I was so embarrassed I had to close my eyes🫣 This is why I'm grateful that I know Jane Eyre like the back of my hand😊I don't need translation, but it's nice to have. Thanks again❣️

@@marymagmartha7453 I know... automatic translating is hilarious sometimes. So far I've only been able to find programmes that translate PDF or something else, not SRT files with time stamps, for sync. It's rather difficult. :(

Хотя некоторые слова я могу понять немножечко. Особенно, если учесть, что я могу предположить изначально, о чём там могут говорить. Я давно уже смотрела этот фильм. Сейчас попробую посмотреть более внимательно. Может, пойму чуточку больше.

It's the same problem as with the Greek one. YT auto subtitles translation only recognises a few languages of larger circulation (English, Spanish, Russian, French etc), Czech and Greek are not recognised by YT (which is odd), therefore no subtitles available, not even the Czech ones. I managed to get a subtitles file from the audio, but it is totally out of sync. If the video were a short one I could try to sync, but considering it is over 3 hours long... Luckily, this version is very faithful, so the scenes are easily recognisable. I'll try to see what I can do with the subtitles file again. :(

@@mrrochesterfan I did not think Zelah Clarke or Ruth Wilson looked beautiful in their adaptations. They were made up to look plain. This Jane was beautiful with minimal makeup.
