Scene of The Mentalist 2x19 "BLOOD MONEY". When I saw this scene, I almost died! omg...this is amazing. I can stop watching it!!! I think it's one of the best Jisbon scenes...I mean, wow...did u see how they're looking at each other?!? dies trust me guys, that's LOVE! Go Jane, SAVE YOUR WOMAN! ;D ..even if she says she doesn't need to be saved...he will protect her, no matter what. That means A LOT.
I love these two, go Jisboooooooon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Jane! The way he first is blushing and trying to deny it, but then he just stops, shakes his head, smiles sweetly, looks at her adoringly and says, "You know, I'm always going to save you, Lisbon. Whether you like it or not."

Some quality forshadowing here. "One day I'm gonna get fired because of you" and Jane basically demolished the CBI in season 6 out of existence getting Lisbon jobless.

Yeah true,I can't argue with that,he actually get her in trouble more then once,if I am not wrong she was suspended twice first time because she was saving his ass when he played that guy to" rob" LaRoche house and second time when his plan failed and he killed fake RJ,killing real RJ resulted in demised of CBI and whole team lost their jobs and she potentiality could end up in jail if were ever find out that she knew he helped Lorelei escape prison and thanks to him she was going free and killing and torturing ppl, but she had soft spot for him and allowed him things he did and at the end I can't deny I was happy they ended up together🤷‍♀️

@@Alona2811 i doubt lisbon was against that, it was for the greater good of making the streets safer, i think the show makes an emphasis on it with the bosco helped lisbon escape justice plotline.

The thing I loved the most about this show was how sincere these two's performances were. It was really easy to believe their performances. Jane's reaction at 1:18 is a great example, it's played so authentically.

I love Lisbon’s response, and I feel it is under appreciated. She knew what she was getting into working with Jane, and she accepts the consequences. Always being the martyr. She doesn’t need some knight in shining armor because it was her decision in the first place (:

1:18 was such a great act-out by Simon Baker :3 the whole scene is so well written and well acted, it's one of my favorites just because of that and how much is packed into it.

People who don't get Jisbon, or say they're like siblings, or it was forced by the writers after RJ is killed, I wonder what they saw here. Jane had no reason to be shy about it if it weren't romantic.

Shipping these two you really learn to appreciate the small things :D I remember watching this scene back then when I wasn't so much into the Mentalist and wondering what Jisbon fans made such a big fuss over...well pretty much nothing ^^....Now I'm squealing like a teenage girl over this "sweet nothing" and can't stop watching Janes face over and over again when Lisbon caught his intentions.

Their relationship embodies 'the little things'. Looks, touches, banter, the way they talk to each other, about each other to others, the way Jane always teases and goofs around extra with her, their differing tones and actions when they're around each other compared to when they're around someone else... is just SO sweet and gentle, it enchants us haha. This show really killed it, the actors really killed it. It always felt so natural, two people slowly growing closer over all they've been through, respecting, depending upon, and trusting each other. Lovely, gets me every time I watch the show.

The connection between these two is palpable. It's like an electric current running through the entire show. I haven't seen anything quite like it, and it vastly outshines more overtly physical romances done in other stories. When people say they think it's weird and forced, I am beyond confused. Were we even watching the same show? What were you looking at for seven seasons, everyones shoes?

It's moments like this one that had me begging for a kiss but then again I liked how they did it at the end of the show rather than in the middle. But it still would've been cool to see them kiss or something earlier

Throughout this scene, I had this stupid grin on my face, the same one I had during their dance in Rose-coloured Glasses. This is the closest we've got to a to a full confession that they both care for each other. Next, I think, the writers should let them go on a road trip together. I'm sure we would get even more Jisbon scenes then :)

Awww... I love Jisbon so much it's not normal. I haven't actually seen this episode yet, in my country we are only up to season 2 episode 17. But I cannot WAIT to see this on my tv. I really wish Jane hadn't heard that kid coming, I wanna know what Lisbon was about to say! *Tears out hair in frustration.*

Can somebody help me? I NEED to know if Teresa call Patrick by his first name!!! She's always calling him "Jane" and I don't like it. They love each other, ¿why she has to call him "Jane" even in Season 7?- In this scene she calls him "Patrick Jane"- Do you remember another?- HELPPPP... I want her to call him Patrick.....

On the episode they are posing as a couple in season 7 she calls him Patrick, and in the flashback episode on season 5 she calls him patrick. Those are the only ones i know of...

@lischiAK I have faith in the writers. They won't mess it up - hopefully. Though the fact that it's a cliffhanger bothers me. But still.... Agree about Mashburn, he was so awesome- I wouldn't mind see him back. I really enjoyed his episode. To hell with Frye.

I don't think the writers need to cool down with the confessions. It was time something happened. I don't get why people always complain about how it would loose its "magic". Yeah right, they are already so much more subtle than 90 percent of the tv couples! That is the reason why couples never get together on screen because there are always people who complain about it. GAH!

@schokomoerder omg look wath I found at the same website it is for the last episode of this season: Patrick Jane and Kristina's first date is interrupted by a report of Red John striking again, which is discovered to be a copycat. But when Kristina reaches out to the real Red John, both she and Jane find themselves in grave danger."......that is terrible....lisbon musst be the one who having dinner with jane.....(sry for bad english)

@lischiAK No idea but as I said I wouldn't take word for word from press releases, they make them to get attention (and they succeed as you see).Maybe she tries to get in contact with him and fails or maybe she herself is involved with RJ. I know that Jane will come to meet RJ in the finale but obviously they won't catch him.
