Janet Jackson Night Elimination - Dancing with the Stars 

I sincerely hope DWTS considers reformatting the voting and elimination. The West Coast viewers have to vote before they have even seen the show! That makes this a popularity contest and not about their performance. It went that way with Bobby Bones, and this 2 hour, during East Coast air time only voting is utter nonsense.

What people don’t realize is that Jimmie still has so much ahead of him. He’s performing in the Thanksgiving day parade, as well as being nominated for a country music award. I’m super proud of him, and I know he will go so much farther in life than anybody would’ve ever imagined

I have to say Suni Lee absolutely stepped up and earned her spot tonight 🖤 I’ve always loved her but I’ve been waiting for her to break out and she finally did tonight. She just needed to stop caring about haters. She was glowing tonight! I am sad about Jimmie tho :(

The fact that some of y'all are just realizing this show is no longer a dancing show. It's about popularity. Dancing is no longer an essential part of the show and it's 100 percent the fans fault. I've been saying this for years.

It made me genuinely sad that Olivia and Val were eliminated. Given her reputation prior to this, I would say that is a victory in itself. She did great.

It's a completely absurd watching Melora in the bottom 3, really

I feel like Jimmie got underscored every week. I loved literally every one of their dances and they always made me feel something, which is what dance is about. And his movement just looked cleaner than other contestants too (like Cody). I absolutely agree with everything Carry Ann said about Jimmie encapsulating everything this show is about.

I'm not mad that Olivia left because I feel that between her and Spice girl, spice girl should have stayed. They kept Olivia because of the drama surrounding her. I have enjoyed her dancing and would of preferred someone like Cody leaving though.

This is the first season where almost every celebrity is good at dancing. The first week, mind blowing that I couldn’t tell who would be the front runner. As the show goes on, you can see the level of potential in the dancers and frankly, I think the eliminations have been pretty on par with the dancing talent. It always sucks to see your favorite go. But I think this is actually one of the less rigged seasons. The difficulty this season is that any single one of these celebs could’ve dominated a previous season. Jimmie def would’ve made it to the finals on any other season. And I love Jimmie. I think if I had to choose, I’d swap Jimmie for Cody, even though Cody is good too. They’re all good. And before anyone comes after Iman, that man has swag and he can definitely dance. He is so light on his feet and barely flat footed. He excels at the unconventional and is challenging the ballroom. His biggest disadvantage is the height difference between him and Danielle and that’s why he appears slower because he’s matching her steps. But he’s been killing it and I’m glad we got to witness his Halloween dance. One of the best and most creative dances. And people saying this is a popularity contest over a dancing contest. No duh. But I think the top three are the top three. People constantly say this is about growth, but it is also about dancing. The growth aspect kills celebs who start off strong and don’t have a lot of places to go. The judges are always harsh against the people who they think are the best. Which can be detrimental to them because then people judge them not compared to the rest but compared to the judges expectations of them. For the first time in a long time, I’ve actually enjoyed almost every celebrity that has come on. I don’t think anyone has been overly robbed. If you continued watching after Bobby bones won, and after Simone Biles got eliminated so early, then this season should be a breath of fresh air. At least we can say everybody can dance. And we could potentially get all women in the finals and that’s pretty exciting.

Did Daniella actually say, "Oh shit?!" jaja oh goodness. That cracked me up. I could be wrong though. Who voted for Cody D: I'm really sad to see Jimmie go home. He was definitely a super star on the show. Now he can be with his family. You did ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY this season, Jimmie! Standing ovation as you exit the dance floor!!! *standing ovation*

Congrats to Olivia and Val on a great season. This was all about votes, and the viewers went as far with her as they were willing to go. That family stigma will always hang around her going forward. But, being on this show surely helped to promote her in whatever she does going forward. She was a top 3 dancing talent this season, and if this was actually based solely on dancing she would've stayed, imo. Part of the appeal for me this season was being a fan of Val and seeing how far he and Olivia might go in the competition. She has a fabulous life with lots of $$$ and a supportive family, so she'll be fine.

Makes me sad that Olivia and Val got eliminated but I’m just so relieved and happy that Jojo and Jenna are safe. I was hoping to see Val vs Jenna in the finals

It's disappointing that this show has become more about popularity than dancing. Thank you to Jimmie, Emma, Olivia, and Val for all their hard work and giving a good run this season. Rooting for Suni and Sasha, I hope that their performances continue to improve!

I also feel so bad for Jimmie because I believe he was robbed of a fair chance like he as a whole has grown amazingly just like Olivia and personally I loved her on DWTS she was one of my favorites despite everything that happened

This was super disappointing! While I agree with the judges decision to save Melora (she is a joy to watch and has improved tremendously), Cody and Cheryl should have been one of the eliminated couples. Even though this week was one of their better dances, they've been consistently the weakest and yet are somehow still in the competition.

Knowing that this is possibly going to be Val's last season as a pro on the show, makes this elimination much more heartbreaking. 💔💔💔

I know the world loves to hate her, but Olivia was great and definitely the surprise of the season. Not only is she a strong technical dancer, but she’s also a charismatic one. You can tell this experience was scary for her in the beginning and definitely required a lot of vulnerability, but it seemed to really have transformed her into someone a little more confident and happy.

Can they please do a differences with the whole voting system it’s so unfair sometimes. I truly think the fans votes are more important the the judges or Vice versa. For example keep the system like the fans/ judges vote count but when it comes down to the bottom two they’re should be a live vote just for them and during the comercial break is when the fans can vote and when it comes back on the votes have ended and then the results can be said live on television. Because to be fair like the miz, oliva, jimmy were all robbed. This isn’t even about dancing it’s all popularity which is said
