Taneisha Keyonne that's exactly what I thought was thinking!! I just love this song and Janet!! The song have a lot of meaning, it's beautiful and Janet voice flows so beautifully!! 😍🤣
TP said this movie was filmed around the time Micheal died or shortly after and that Janet’s emotional performances/scenes were very raw and visceral. She was channeling the emotions from his loss into the movie and at times couldn’t stop crying, she was literally giving it all she had. He talked about it on an Oprah interview about the movie 🙏🏻🌈
Beautiful song & arrangement. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of MJ's death after the fact. Some of the saddest days of my life. Although this is a movie, those were Janet's honest emotions caught on film. In reality MJ had just passed.
The vulnerability of this song is so epic. You can see it from Janet's eyes and of course how your heard it through out her voice. I remember still have this song on her compilation/greatest hits way back 2010 from ICON series. Pop classic.
Yes! I Wanted to watch That's the way Love Goes back it was deleted because Now Janet Jackson believe in islam, she is Muslim. I heard it from one of Janet 's fan.
+Kamila Jackson I don't see any difference with people from other religions who would believe that her video is "inappropriate" I just hope that she follows what truly matters for her & that she is happy.
One of my best songs from janet.. I can hear the pain in her voice from Michael.. R.I.P. Michael Jackson.. Love u Michael.. Always remember n never forgotten..
This is apart Tylers Perry's movie sound track- the focus is not on Janet but the movie. Listen to the words - Why Did I Get Married....Janet is AMAZING... If you ever get a chance see her live...........
There as so many levels to this song and movie that is so emotional. From her tearing up the dining area to her crying with the three other actress surround her on the steps. She gave so many touching and powerful performances in this film. The song has so much meaning and is so powerful. You can definitely tell she was releasing all those emotions of losing her brother and how the industry treated her because of the Superbowl and also as she stated in her documentary how she was guilty by association for supporting her brother that they black balled her and stopped playing her music. She is a strong woman for sure to endure that much when it seemed the whole world went against her just as they did Michael....It was a double edged sword and when they murdered him, they went after her. It's a very sad, demonic and sinister industry...to tear down two of the biggest talents in the world. Janet and Michael and their family is true royalty and can't be matched. The King and Queen of Pop for sure. Two Icons and Legends all coming from one family to include their brothers and sisters all having songs on the charts at one time or another, just amazing.
I didn't even know she did a song for the movie. I didn't even know there was a soundtrack for it. For those who haven't seen the movie or know the backstory of that scene where Janet is hysterical and crying, breaking things and especially the scene where the girls are crying with her on the stairs.....those are the scenes where Tyler told her to use that pain of losing her brother (which happened in the middle of shooting this movie) and let it all out. The scene where they are all crying, was real. They were comforting her while also crying over Michael.
You are the dancing queen Young and sweet You're just like seventeen Dancing queen Feel the beat from the tambourine You can dance You can jive Having the time of your life See that girl Watch that scene Dig in the dancing queen
Happy Birthday Janet! 🥳🥳. I have always loved this song--along with everything else. I always felt like this beautiful song never got the shine it deserved lyrically, vocally and musically a great, beautiful combination.💛
If you got somebody to hold somebody to love somebody to ride to the end don't let the evil out beat the good memories that needs to be created because true love it's never perfect but it is life
