we forget her and her family have been in this industry for 50 yrs she has a wealth of knowledge that she can share with these young folks in this industry. Janet's a survivor as well... there's a lot of demons in Hollywood...
This is the Damita Jo Era. She is everything and the best at her craft. So well spoken she is God sent. This woman has saved so many lives in so many ways with her amazing strength. I've never seen anyone be as real and open as she is. She represents black people so eloquently. You'd have to be ignorant not to see the genuine nature in her.
Aaaaaaahhhh people don't understand that this is the way life is. Thank you Janet for your honesty and I pray for continued happiness for you. People need to stop judging because no matter how right you think you are about someone you can be proven wrong. Only that person and God knows what's true for that person.
I love Janet! She and Mary got me through High School and my early 20's foreal. She's just REAL and she has a therapeutic vibe, where Mary's therapeutic vibe is more raw. I needed what they created in SO many situations and they were always right on time.
What you said about materialized possessions is true. But the friends and family forever are not always necessarily true. Once you make it big financially and support alot of friends and family, you expect them to return some sort of favor not just financially but just because theyre your ''true'' friends and family and thats not always the case. Im just being very raw and honest about it because you see it. Sad reality is that if they financial support dries up for some reason so do those friends and family that you thought were everything completely in this short lifetime that we live and breathe in.

She is such a soft spoken person. So was Michael. There is something so innocent and endearing about Janet. She seems so gentle and kind. It's hard to imagine her having a single mean bone in her body.

I can relate. I had suffered a deep state of depression a long time ago. I know some people turn to drug's and alcohol,because of depression. That's not the answer,there's other alternatives. U just got to find what works best for you.

You've worked a long time, since a baby in my eyed. You'll get there, this is a life long goal, there's no finish line, but the road does soften. Keep on working on you, I have a lot of baggage, layer by layer. No time limit, and no one can tell you about your journey, it's just you! All of this goes for me as well. It's so hard, when you let other people know what you're doing, they always say you should be here or there by now. Not true, let them learn their own path, theirs is theirs alone, and so is yours! I still get you have less years ahead than behind, when are you going to stop being a victim. Its not about that, if you've experienced abuse since childhood, it takes a long time, especially if the people or person lives a long time
Oh ya,I know. I think the reason why they came down harder on Janet is because she is a female. It's not her fault. About the only gud thing that came out of it,is that it's youtube had gotten started.

Michael and Janet stay so depressed they always down.. if they were to put God in their life they weren't been so depressed and down so much they both had a good life and still weren't happy.and it didn't have nothing to do with their father Janet got married at 17.18 yrs old so she wasn't too scared of her father.. she complain too much...
John Jackson when I say I love me some Jan, I really mean it.. her, mike and prince. But I agree wholeheartedly, I understand people can be depressed but playing the victim all the time is like damn okay we get it. I do not want to sound insensitive because I feel like they did have a incredible amount of pressure on them from young, I do realize most artist are tortured souls and they have to deal with a lot of evilness in the industry but stop pandering. I’m starting to realize that all these MEGA STARS put on a front (Prince, Mike, Whitney, Janet, etc...)
