i finally found this song, i remember i heard this song came out on the radio back when i was 10 in 2006. that was the first and the last time i heard this song, i thought that the song was gonna be on 20yo album, but i was dissapointed, this song was not on it. and i thank God i found this on RU-vid today.

A lot of people haven’t heard Janet’s version because it didn’t make the final cut for the “20 Y.O.” album. I happened to know about it because of watching the behind-the-scenes DVD on the recording of the album. There’s a clip of her in a session with Jam & Lewis working on this song.
This song was a test if fans like it but fans did not like this and was taken off the 20 Y.O. album to me I like the beat it is 🔥 but Janet vocals is too raspy on this track.

I love Janet for about 30 years now and I wasn't really feeling this track. that whole 20 y.o era wasn't really that good but I LOVED Discipline that followed this era.
any real fan of Janet knows the voice and the sounds she makes in her music. been a fan for about 40yrs since she started with her brother's on TV including fame the show. so get a clue.
this definitely sounds better than the original..Debbie Debs version sounds like a coney island recording compared to this one..for real...but of course she didn't have Jam and Lewis either...lol
The instrumental is really good in my opinion, it reminds me faintly on the RN1814 era, but the vocals are too weak, and the lyrics are as well. I'm not feeling this one, Dunk, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
