We all like the first season for the bright and carefree vibe that all four of our youths gave in S1. S2 is darker and has fewer funny bits, but did a very good job is capturing how the events that happened at the end of S1 had a very grave effect on our youths. Not to mention the grief of losing friends and lovers (each one of them). The only one who didn't change was the Crown Prince, which I'm ok with because he's my favorite character!
@@priyamhatre7664 Well, it wasn’t just a joke as it turned out later. He literally can’t be and feel alive without her And more than that you will understand later, because the other meaning was quite literal of those words
Season one was my favorite. I get why all the changes for season two, but I think the Hong Sisters made a mistake in giving both amnesia AND a face swap. There was nothing there to call back to who JU fell in love with. I couldn’t connect to this prissy little dewy faced girl (seriously, they went overboard with the lip balm) who was thirsty for men and went around talking about how pretty she was. You don’t give me the actress. You don’t give me the personality. It felt like JU was “cheating” on our beloved MuDeok. 😭😭😭 Would have worked better with just one: same actress with amnesia or new actress with her memories (guilt keeping her from letting JU know it’s her).
