WOW 😳 Janice was Absolutely STUNNING when she was younger...

I met Janice over 20 years ago in Palm Springs California. I was in early twenties over 20 years ago competing in Hawaiian Tropics contest. I remember her being very nice and some what protective over us girls. I felt a sincerity from her.

She exaggerated herself with a rude loud personality on ANTM with Tyra. Her biography explained a lot. She never needed surgery!

Janice Dickerson was sooooooo beautiful. It is so sad that she messed her face up by doing that plastic surgery.

I really think she would have aged beautifully without the surgeries.

Ok here is the tea. I went to HS in Hollywood FL with Janice. We were Bio partners and shared a US History class. She knew she was going to make it big as a model. I think her first jobs were modeling for local Young Sophisticates and 5/7/9 shops. Yes she used to surf and play tennis. She was so funny and gorgeous. Our Senior class chose her as Best Sense of Humor when chosen for superlatives. Her Senior year goal was to be a "funny car driver."/s. She was very kind, smart and just nice. Btw, her sister Debbie was just beautiful.

She is such a Halston girl for me. She was drop dead gorgeous. Must be hard to be *that* gorgeous and growing older in an industry that hates aging.

I met Janice in 2017 when I was working as a Cashier at Lassens on Labrea in LA. I heard a woman screaming where is the bathroom and I turned and it was her. After she used it she shopped and I rang up her and her daughter groceries. I was shaking thee whole time. I was trying not to cry. She was sooooo kind and said it's okay take your time. I'll never forget that day. She also said when I told her I'm a model she looked me up and down and said no more tattoos. I love her, she is an inspiration to me.

I read Janice’s book. What a heartbreaking childhood she had. The abuse she suffered from the hands of her father is absolutely terrible. With that being said, I hope she is able to fully heal and I hope she is sober and happy today. Definitely a polarizing woman.

I worked at a performing arts camp in California in 2013 and met Janice in the E.R. when I was taking a student to be treated for a broken arm. She was very lively and tried to convince another patient in the waiting room to get into modeling

In the 70s and 80s, She was one of the most naturally beautiful women I had ever seen.

Janice Dickinson was STUNNING. She went through a really bad childhood, especially the horrors that she witnessed. She was influential and one of the women who helped paved the way for diversity in modeling. In the 60s through the early 80s, mainstream models were blonde haired, blue eyed “California girls” with the occasional token black model (Beverly Johnson, Pat Cleveland). People thought she was being mean in ANTM, but she was being realistic. The modeling and entertainment industry’s is BRUTAL about a candidate’s looks.

I always thought she was mixed with Middle-Eastern, Indian, or Mexican etc. I was shocked when I found she is Polish, Scottish and Irish! I think her family may be hiding something from her.

It’s crazy to hear that modeling agencies told her that her look was too ethic and that she wouldn’t make as a model smh.. I’m glad she proved the naysayers who doubted her wrong.. Her face and body were photographed everywhere and girls I knew would cut pictures out of their fashion mags for me to hang up in my locker! Also Patty Hansen, Jerry Hall, Rene Russo. I dreamed of being a model, but I came out at 5'3. Then, I heard of all the stress, nose candy and degradation they had to endure and quickly thanked the most high for Wilhemina modeling agency telling me although I have a face for modeling, I'm too short...waaay too short as the agency told me. Iman was my idol (and still is, I wear her makeup religiously). I wish Janice would have left her face alone, she was absolutely stunning but see, thats the influence of the modeling industry still haunting her to be perfect.

I have been the odd one that always liked and respected Janice Dickinson. People on the internet can be extremely cruel and can break people down- if they had any inkling on what she has been through they would respect her a whole lot more. Even if Janice Dickinson hasn't been through what she has been through, she is still very honest and caring to the models and the people she works with. I still respect her. She may not have a filter and you may not like her, but those people that think Janice is just been mean- she isn't doing that to be mean, it's just that the modeling world is extremely cruel, harsh and demanding. Janice just told you to your face and she did it because she cared. She could be 'out of line' at times and a little 'unprofessional', but she had a good heart and meant well. She just wanted the models to be better, because back then they were pressured to be extremely thin. I do think Janice could have been more open-minded towards plus sized models, but at the same time I blame that on her upbringing, her been old school and her always working hard to stay in shape and not having an ounce of fat on her. I watched a few seasons of america's next top model and I have seen Janice's show years ago when she was an agent. Janice Dickinson always welcomed models that she saw potential in, no matter their features, color, sexuality, or their upbringing. She even welcomed transgender women and that is one of the reasons I have the upmost respect for how open-minded she was in that way. She saw beautiful in everybody. I am not even a super huger fan; it's just social media can say really hurtful things and I feel she does not deserve it. I do not know how many people know this, or know about zodiac signs. Janice is an aquarius woman, which means she is very very honest, loyal to the people she loves, creative, but doesn't take any crap from people when they come at her. Janice was probably one of the most stunning women alive during her time as a model and she has always had a lot of charisma and a geniune soul about her.

' No LifeGuard on Duty' is one of my favorite books of all time I remember reading it shortly after the America's Next Top Model craze hit its pinnacle , and it really did make me empathize a lot with her in a way I never would have only seeing her on the show.
