Thank you so much for watching and to my Patreons who suggested I put this out on RU-vid 🤗 If you like what you heard and would like to support the release of my debut album please see link: gofund.me/66db3902
If Bob Dylan heard this cover he would feel the need to invite you to play with him at a concert. The inspiration that caused you to play and sing this in this way does not belong to this world. Thanks❤
Truly you should be proud of this. This is a gem of a song, and such a hard one to cover because of how unique it is. Your voice is haunting and your composition is elegant. Terrific work : )
every dylan cover i heard from you.....i love it. thank you so very much, and please mooooooore. btw my youtube mix is full of your songs.....and i still love them at the 20th time .
So proud of you. This remake is 100% beautiful. Now I can listen anytime, your voice is golden. TY Jani. Sharing. I simply can't wait for your new CD release.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment it means a lot to me. I always feel a little nervous when approaching such beautiful songs so your kind words are appreciated ❤xxx
@@JanileighCohen Certain Dylan songs are made for other artists to record. This one found you. The harmonies coming in are perfection. You gotz skillz :o)
To find this masterpiece by both Bob Dylan and you is one of the luckiest things that have happened in my life. I truly mean it because only a few people know about this unfinished song, and even less your beautiful cover. This song and your cover in particular has become one of my favorite songs all time. I literally come here to listen to it everyday!! I hope Bob finish it one day. It would be one of his best masterpieces both in lyrics and melody.
You are truly special.... Blessed these songs are being carried down to our new generation. Thank you for learning them and beautifying them with your Light ✨🙏🏻✨
I just love the way the music rolls out of you, seemingly without effort, which is a skill of its own. Each video of yours, that I've seen, has evoked this same impression of effortless grace, and I especially like this song.
Bought the album a couple days ago and though it's all great, this is a simmering drop of pure gold. So maudlin, and perfectly suited to your voice and piano. The rewrite makes it your own. Fantastic
I've been listening 2 Dylan since the 80s including all the bootlegs and studio sessions. How U found a song I've never heard astounds me. Thanks it is beautiful
This song would have made a great Cocteau Twins song because then you can get away with the lyrics not making sense, much in the way Elizabeth Fraser was known for this. Lovely cover by the way.
Thanks to you, I discovered this wonderful song. I like listening to Bob, but your rendition is better than the original! Thanks to you, I also got to know the work and life of Jackson C. Frank. You are super talented and you choose beautiful songs. I wish you a lot of success!
Beautiful! It sounds like an angel singing Bob Dylan's most beautiful song.....for a few minutes you took me to paradise....From Brazil! Lindo! Parece um anjo cantando a música mais bonita do Bob Dylan.....por alguns minutos você me levou ao paraíso....From Brasil!
Wow, a Dylan song I've never heard of! I thought I knew them all. Wonderful singing and playing!! I enjoyed this very much! I recently uploaded 10 Dylan covers in a row lol. I've been listening to his new 6 hour album Fragments. It's brilliant. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your music. Cheers :))
Cat videos get 100 million views...but a beautiful cover of an unfiniahed Dylan masterpiece, done by an outstandingly talented woman with a great voice and incredible piano skills getting only a few thousand views?...this world is seriously fucked up. If there is a god, be ain't watching cat videos, he's listening to this with a smile on his face.
I was sending RU-vid Topic Album Playlists to a friend. He's in country Victoria. I'm up here in Queensland, procrastinating when I should be marking English papers. It was a mildly energising wheel within the monotonous wheel of work. Anyway, something kept coming to mind. A pulsing, melodic... was is piano? Was it a woman's voice? What was it... I paused the RU-vid Vid (Alex Chilton - Electricity By Candlelight / NYC 2/13/97; cos everyone loves a story, right?). I stared at the laptop screen. I kept the scrap of sound I had rotating in my mind... Several minutes past; then it came to me: this. I didn't even remember what it was called until I saw the Video in Janileigh's Topic site. Then. Listened through what three times maybe? Then, I sent her playlist to my friend, too.
try this : Up till go down my day is at a wheel by her dyeing eye upon the sage ambiguous role form me from you what part was I, what can I do ? Bet dime of mind and the dim is a dark I can't believe nor ain't a judge what I get fined over time is a wide load as day is dark, a time isn't right day in the lay, deep in the night, I game every bet, I hurry buy her a surprise i see it in your lips i knew it in your eyes but i feel your love and i feel no sin i came and leash your horse i called your name what curse on me what can i do a rigid role upon the said never just an hour a hand made the man and make you to be what have defined i know it in my name and in my merely mind oh of your addressed role where ages flied i hear your name ah where angel lied what do i know what to come is true i've been the door, i trust not a lane, i can not be surprised almost everything, and in each distant road, i can't be the same, i keen no love i cure no shame, i am catered what's to be an admiring lone with my destined meant i came and mined this door and then ah i get by will i get though
Are these lyrics correct? My tears go down, my day is real Like a dying eye upon this stage each needs this road from me from you What paradise? What can I do? That dying am I and the day is dark I can’t believe far in your touch What I could find for time is around to fall in love, to fall in love, to fall in love To fall in love with you That day is dark our time is right Day in the night deep in the night I cleaned every bag I heard I had my supply I see it in your lips I knew it in your eyes Well I feel your love and I feel no shame I can’t release your heart I call your name What good to me what can I do to fall in love, to fall in love, to fall in love To fall in love with you And it just rolls upon the sand Never this and how it made aman And makes you feel what I can find I know it in my days ah! in my daily mind Where ages roll, where the ages fly I hear your name, where the angel lies What do I know? what to come it’s true To fall in love to fall in love, to fall in love To fall in love with you Bob Dylan version… “How can the door trust on a nail I tend to be surprised most every day I read it in this road I can’t be the same I feel your love I feel no shame I don’t know what’s to pay and am I in awe With a dusty man I gave my tears to go I did all I could buy what I could do I feel to fall in love to fall in love To fall in love with you “
