Your journal layout is fabulous! I appreciate "the review" of the Circulism Art book by AJ Quinell! I was undecided about the standard paper or the superior paper. Seems Everyone gets the shiny books but i Really like the way your page came out in Wild cats, plus i have lots of permanent markers. 🙋💗👍

Glad it was helpful! I prefer the standard paper to the premium and will always opt for it if possible. Saves me a few bucks and when I use alcohol or permanent makers the black printing smudges. Now if I were a neat colorist and didn't touch the black printing, it wouldn't be an issue; but that's not me! 😹

I don't do anything fancy for the thumbnails. For the pics of my pages I just open windows explorer on my computer and select all the images. When I click print I can choose thumbnail option so it prints about 30 on the page. For my buddy colors I copy the split image I make from IG and just paste them in a Word document and print. HUGS!

Hi! I'm sorry for the delay in replying. The Emily Clarke books are single sided so you could use any markers; just make sure to put a blotter page behind. I like using permanent markers in the pixel books; they don't seem to bleed as much as alcohol markers. At least for me. 😺

Do the color by number books get boring ? You don’t choose the colors or do any blending do you? I have looked at purchasing one of the books but couldn’t decide.

I don't get bored with color by number because I tend to break the rules. I will change colors (sometimes I don't care for what was chosen). While I mostly use markers in them, sometimes I used different mediums (I actually love using crayons). If you want to try one, I suggest finding an illustrator you like. Often they will have sampler books that contain a few pages from several of their books. My first color by number book was from Sunlife Drawing. I think it's called 40 best pages??? There are color by number and some non color by number in it and I was able to find which of the styles I like best. THANKS for stopping by!
