Melissa, can you talk about preparing/planning for your own passing for women who have children, and women who don’t have children and family? My ex-uncle passed away, and other close friends are so ill, that it doesn’t look like they will live very long, so it got me thinking to prepare/plan with very low income. Our generation didn’t start with digital, what happens to all those photos? There is so much going through my mind.
The older I get the more I think about purging my home, I don’t want to leave a lot behind for my son to have to deal with. Also, I used to be against it but, cremation is the way I want to go so ‘easy peasy’ .

We just bought a new water filtration system as well. Natasha Denona eye products are fantastic & you look great. As far as the lipsticks, I agree & finally the whole matte lip thing is going out of style here in CA. That sure didn’t help. A bit of gloss is finally coming back.So many great shows on right now. Crimes of the century is fabulous. I’m watching The Playboy Murders is good too. Loved We Are The World doc. Plus there’s a 2 part British doc on Paula Yates that I loved. Great video Melissa. So many good shows right now. I did like the new season of Shetland, but didn’t care for the last episode. It was nice to have some new direction in the show, though. Vera, season 13, has been very good so far. That show is consistently good. Years ago I read quite a few of the Philippa Gregory series. I’ve been watching a lot of MHZ Choice as well; Murderous Mysteries (France) and White Sands (Denmark) were good and enjoyable without being too heavy. After watching so much true crime it’s nice to have some lighter shows. I read much of the Outlander series in the mid 90s. Haven’t seen the show, though. I believe it’s still on Amazon Prime, if you enjoy documentaries, Werner Herzog had a very interesting program about Death Row, and a spinoff of that called Into the Abyss. Very well done. ❤

I think you would really enjoy Crime Weekly with Stephanie and Derrick. It’s a podcast but also a series on RU-vid. They cover murder cases so thoroughly. All of the cases we have heard about but also lesser known cases. Most in multi parts. They are so good and Derrick is a former detective so has such a good perspective on the cases.

We watched a nice movie called Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. It's about a British woman who cleans houses and decides after seeing a dress by Christian Dior to save her money, go to Paris and buy her dress. It is an adventure and the fashion is breathtaking. I have several of the loreal lipsticks and like them as well. The Ruby Franke story is so strange/surprising. I still wonder what happened. That’s a great idea to use those bands. I know you want to keep up with your exercising. I read about that minister from Mortal Sins. I just can’t believe all those women were stupid to fall for that. There’s no where in the Bible telling you to do anything like that. I couldn’t keep up with canceling all these streaming stations. Hi Melissa I love Melissa days when I get to see you and hear you talk about anything from makeup to hard things …your breast surgery and reconstruction to shows on tv, etc. My husband and I love so many of the same things you watch. We love British shows, we love anything about the kings and queens . I remembered one winter , in particular, where we had the coldest winter. I would put the gas stove off to have a “fire.” I read along book about King Henry the eighth and all about his wives. It was fascinating. My husband watches a lot about daVinci. He was definitely a fascinating smart man. Melissa, if you ever want to get Doug something for a birthday or Christmas there is a big book in a nice box called Leonardo da Vinci The Complete Paintings and Drawings by Frank Zollverein…book company is Taschen. He looks at it over and over. The box is the replica of the front of the book…really nice. I have always loved the L’Oréal lipsticks…don’t like mattes..like creamy.
