I don't know how you all got through some of those letters. My heart goes out to the Ima Survivor Sanctuary family. I was raised on a dairy farm here in Upstate NY and loved every minute of it. We had the run of 400+ acres. It was the best. The milk cows have since gone but the farm is still here with some beef cows, goats, pigs and a few chickens. And yes we even have a pot belly lol I got married and moved away, my husband of 22 years passed from lung cancer in 2019. Totally lost and financially unstable, I moved back to the farm. It was the best decision I could have made. The animals truly do help with the healing process. I also found you with your video returning to the sanctuary after the hurricane flooding. It was devastating to say the least. I've never been through that but I did feel a connection and have been watching ever since. God Bless you all for loving and caring for the animals.

These letters made me cry happy and sad tears. The sanctuary is not only for animals but for humans too. I am disabled and have a hard time filling my day but I too watch on both FB and yt.thank you for making me smile every day. You have saved souls across the globe and not many people can say that. My grandson’s suicide attempts, getting Covid, my daughter with MS, my husband just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and the list goes on and on. Those of us who have stayed at home for the last ten months, we find such joy with the animals but also the bright sunshine of your family. I love being outside with you walking around and seeing the changes in the pastures. I feel like I was outside working right beside you on all that fencing. I am almost 70 and watch L E 's channel and Suits to Boots.

I'll never forget the time I saw one of your videos late in 2020, it was the first time I smiled since my father passed away. Escape is sometimes difficult to find, especially an escape that is not even more damaging, such as alcohol or other substances. During the darkest times we are at our most vulnerable, and often the need to dull the pain is greater than the common sense we should pay heed to. It seems at times the darkness can overwhelm, and it was when I was falling into an abyss I saw a glimpse of light illuminate the dark. That brief break in the gloom, provided by the joy of the animals, and antics of the "shitshow" was enough to get me through that night. Since that night, that glint of light grew wider, as a small sanctuary of serenity and warmth opened itself to me, providing me shelter from the storm. It may not seem much, but even the briefest moment of joy is so powerful when it helps one stay afloat in a sea of despair. I am still treading water, but your lighthouse shines on me to show me that there is light in the darkness. I will be forever grateful, and still wonder how I found this small paradise. And it seems that I am far from alone, look at all of the incredible people in this world, people from all walks of life, who too have been through so much, as they say, we all have a story, and we are all survivors of something. Survivor, that is something I am proud to be. Thanks.
So true. 2020 has been, largely, an awful year. Here in the UK we are on lockdown till at least Easter. I have a large garden though and many, many birds visit. One of the positives is my husband now works from home permanently. He is a psychotherapist. He is so much more relaxed. Cans do jobs in the house and garden between clients, has time to read a book. I am retired and semi disabled anyway and did not go out much. I rely, though, on You Tube as a window on the world. Finding your channel has been such a joy! I love it when you, Lester, have to find ways to delicately explain the bodily processes of the animals!!!
Another confirmation that people are amazing and you never know what people are dealing with. and compassion is needed universally. Those letters touched us all. I know some of them were hard to read out loud but thank you for doing that anyway. Thank you so very much for sharing peoples stories and love. As a side I love VooDoo hamming it up for us.

I found your videos accidentally one night as I was strolling through my RU-vid. You make me smile, want to love on the animals, and laugh at their crazy antics. You, Jamie, LE, and the other children are Blessed by God and your Patrons. Never deny on of your Patrons for Blessing you with a gift, becsuse they get so much more out of being able to bless someone . In return when you get an opportunity to bless someone, just think back and say thanks you. The loose their pleasure and happiness when you tell them not to send their contributions. You will receive a beautiful blessing when you in turn bless someone .A very sweet lady which is 97 years old told me once even if ypu don't need or want someone gives you, just accept the gift and thank them. Because if you don't you will break their happiness in giving. I try to do this, if it is nothing but giving them a loaf of homemade bread, a slice of their favorite cake or a dozen of my MeMe (molasses) cookies. My oldest grandson named them when it was about 2 years old. He is now going on 17, he is very special to me. This is what my 4 grandchildren , 2 of my 3 children want for Christmas or Birthdays, plus the grands want meme's handmade flannel pajama bottoms. All of the boys have worn the oldest PJ's we just keep letting the 6 inch hems out . Then my daughter packs them away for them. Maybe I should have written you a letter and sent you a box of the cookies. I make about 10 dozen and give them out for Christmas. Even Ms. Annie gets her bag. She is the one that tries to keep me on the right path with God and my Family. She is like a mother to me. Especially since both my parents have passed on .Thank you and Bless you for caring for the unwanted, lost and the beautiful animal family you have made for us to love and enjoy. 🙏👍♥️❤❤❤❤

God Bless your family...animals and all! 2020 was hard, lost a beloved cousin to Cancer, one of my beloved dogs, Matt, a huge yellow lab, had a stroke and died, no warning at all. Most of my family who have gotten covid, only a few, it's all been light cases. I first found you in the so sad video of coming home to find so many dead animals, and your miracle 3 alive, when it was first played! And haven't missed any yet!! I love animals, still have 3 older dogs, and all the babies on the farm are also my family! I live in Shepherd, and keep hoping I will someday run into yall at Tractor Supply! I an 70 and and while have some health issues, still get around. I pray for all of you, you help so many of us out of dark holes, and give us help to keep going. Love all of you SO much!

I love how you perfectly worded it. I can't tell you how many times I've had a bad mind set about something and see they downloaded a video and it instantly makes me happy. Sometimes I laugh for the first time and sometimes only time I laughed that day.
I watch both FB and RU-vid. Your amazing. To your animals and family. There have been times when I was really down. The death if my son being the worst. No words can ever express the feelings. I have laughed and cried along with you. Even though your pain of a loss because you were with them everyday. I pray for your family and animals to keep you all safe happy and healthy. Holy smokes! I'd be lost without my calendar. I'm an old school retired trucker and can't live without my paper maps. Computer Goongle might be ok for some but maps and calendars give me context the others don't.
Dear God, how i love you guys and each and every one of your animals. My letter would be very similar to many of these. My joy and tears are with you. I'm 71 and survived COVID in the past few weeks. Thankful for every single video over the past 3 years. Becky from KCMO.

From diagnosis to his passing the time frame was less than a year. I've watched our four children grieve the loss of their Dad, we all can't speak about him without tears pouring out of our eyes. A lot of seniors had to deal with the loneliness of the quarantine. Giving them something to help distract them from missing their families and the isolation.
Lester, Jami and LE, not sure who thought of or came up with your vision statement but, obviously, with the letters you shared today it certainly speaks to us. It’s a statement of fact and truth because when you think about it we ALL are survivors of one thing or another that impacted our or a loved ones lives. God Blessed you with the heart, compassion and insight to do what you do and to share it with the world. Thank you all for sharing your “shit show” with us! God Bless and be with you always.

one of the things you give to people.. is reality. the love of animals.. life real life the good the bad and the ugly... you live it all and show it all. It is far different than watching what they call "reality shows" Yours is reality life.. family life a life doing its best for animals and people. Something that everyone that has owned or does own an animal or any kind can relate to. That is what draws people to you and keeps people watching you.. please never change yourself we love you for who you are.

I have been watching u for a long time. I laughed so hard when Shirley had her head stuck in the fence and Lester had to get his new hammer(which he was so proud of) to free her. Shirley ate the label off the hammer! 💚 Laughed so hard! Forever hooked! Love U💚
