i was dissatisfied tbh. yes it was strange but it wasn’t as disturbing as some people make it sound (still check tws though) the ending was rather anticlimactic in my opinion and i’m not really sure what the whole point of it was
I read 17 books this month, my favourites were ‘destroy me’ by tarereh mafi ‘archers voice’ by Mia Sheridan and currently I’m reading ‘before I let go’ by Kennedy ryan.
@@gonegonethankyou I have no life. My reading pace is quite slow tbh I will probably read 45 pages in an hour but bc I do NOTHING else I just have time ig. Not that schools started back up it takes me 3-5 days to finish a book now.
Don't rush the January wrap-up! I have two days left! Lol. I'm nearly finished with the novel I'm listening to, and I have a small poetry book I've been carrying around that I can also probably finish before January is officially over. Then it will be 10 books this month! Which is a really good month for me. It's usually about 5.
@khalilahd. thank you! I can attribute the increase to audiobooks. I've been resistant to them for sometime because listening to an audiobook feels like a totally different activity than reading (valid, but different) and I love the experience of making my way through a physical book and taking my time with the words on the page if I'd like, or rushing through to get the to good parts if I prefer. So "reading" audiobooks kinda feels like cheating in a way. Like, it's still consuming books, but it's not the same as reading you know? But I'm also loving it because now I can listen to things on my commute or while exercising or doing chores, etc. Also, some narrators are really fun to listen to. 😄
My January wrap up was Trials of apollo 3-5, magnus chase 3 , kane Chronicles 2 and i hope to finish the sun and the star today (I did finish the Sun an the star)
