American Godzilla: I hate kaiju that are destroyers... Japanese Godzilla: Time to destroy this world... American Godzilla: Sh!t, I guess I have to destroy myself?
@@grahamflatme I see it like the ‘98 Zilla but thicker because of what I have mentioned in the comment before, just the fat version of it, but with its dorsal fins and it’s neck like the ‘98 American Zilla.
@@nameless.greyceo I don't think so, the quality of the japanese and the details are a lot less in quality than the US one. The different is the budget, they didn't have enough budget to make a good design. Also the japanese one have a lot less screen time than the US, his movements are a lot more controlled to avoid problems with the budget too. My work is to develop CG characters ahah.
@@rst7190No American Godzilla is an anti hero. Beginning scene of Godzilla versus king kong, he literally attack Florida over them building Mecha Godzilla.
@@Jenlly_Triosdoesn’t radiation work differently in the monsterverse it has more regenerative ability’s increasing growth radiation in minus one is well its just radiation lol
@wolf-puppy you are correct. All I gotta say is that this movie definitely hits different than any Hollywood crap I watched so far. Nowadays all of the Hollywood movies comes with some type of agenda lol
American Godzilla = cool Japanese Godzilla = scary Um actually, you should also remember that the Japanese also made flying Godzilla and dropkicking Godzilla…
@@solidSnake4580it was kinda trash but honestly I loved it for that. It’s, to me at least, a fun cheese fest to just turn your brain off and enjoy and feel like a kid again. And this coming from the same guy that also insisted on seeing Godzilla Minus One in theaters and thinking it was a masterpiece, too.
@@thenitpickchannel9993 Dude no, I will not turn my brain off when watching a movie, I will always watch a movie and judge it all objectively and I want to process what I just saw. That’s just something you never want to do and I don’t know why so many people keep using the “turn your brain off” excuse. I’ve watched Godzilla movies all the time as a kid and even my brain is never turned off. Mindless consuming a product is not the best idea to do.
@@BloodFallenRTX Even if there was, Legendary Godzilla has far more combat experience. he's been fighting other Kaiju long before the dawn of man. heck, Legendary Godzilla fought in wars.
I watched Minus One first and loved it, then the same day I watched New Empire just for an itch to scratch but I also loved it, for whole different reasons. Minus One was an outstanding drama with dread, tension and beautiful drama, New Empire felt like watching a Finals Cup👌
I don't glaze things so obviously wrong but funny at least. American Godzilla- Kills lots of folks-Hero Japanese Godzilla-Kills lots of folks-Hero I think that's what you actually meant to say.... Let's go Godzilla!! Wipe those humans out my guy!!
American Godzilla: 200M Buget = 500M Box-Office (Made a little more than double the cost to make it.) Japanese Godzilla: 15M Buget = 115M Box-Office (Made nearly 10 times the cost to make it.) Japanese Godzilla Superiority American Godzilla still looked cool though...
Haha, I have to agree with that. The movement is quite rigid in the Minus One version while the other seems a lot smoother. Granted, they are both fun movies to watch.
2023-2024 has been an absolute amazing year for Godzilla. First Minus One became the first Godzilla movie to win an Oscar, and then Godzilla and Kong The New Empire became the highest grossing Godzilla movie of all time.
The lore when you think about it solves why Kong was so curious that he saw another ape just like him. It's also sad to see Kong found his new family while Godzilla probably saw his whole family wiped out by the mutos 😢😢
Special effects with SOME CGI, a lot of Godzilla Minus One was practical and animatronic effects like the 1st Jurassic Park, which is very cool and impressive tbh @@sovietunion9131
I really like the dichotomy between the two because it symbolically shows the difference between the US’s view of nuclear war and Japans view of nuclear war.
Yea true how nukes get beat up until they pass out in every movie. Americans really nailed it. I also love how it's the same pilots dropping the bomb every time but they're really just a talentless plumbers pretending to be poorly cast actors pretending to be incompetent pilots. Just like real life. That or the American version has nothing to do with WW2 or even really Godzilla at all, recycled the plot of every overly produced Hollywood blockbuster, then just copy pasted Godzilla IPs into it. N now there's some imposter, not even a monster, wearing Godzilla's skin much the same way Michael Bay wore Optimus Prime's skin because these movies are literally just the LA Transformers again.
Japanese Godzilla isn’t always Minus One style. Anyone who has seen the Showa era films especially know that portraying Godzilla as a protector of the Earth is by no means an American invention.
But people be out here saying Oh I MisS tHE goOd oL dAys 😂😂😂. Didn't they made Godzilla fly? Didn't they made Godzilla have magnetic powers? Didn't they made Godzilla have a drop kick and have a sort of slam power using the atomic breath? Ain't all the showa era just him destroying monsters? Why they gotta be so dumb thinking this idea wasn't used in the old days?
It’s funny because Japanese Godzilla used to be goofy fun for a while, and American Godzilla used to be serious. NOW ITS REVERSED. And guess what? I STILL fucking love them.
The thrust from the Japanese Godzilla's heat wave is more scary than that of the American Godzilla, but when it comes to movement, the American Godzilla is more realistic 😊
American godzilla looks more fake and is copy paste of the original japanese classic godzilla. Bro was running and jumping on cities like a athlete.fake
@hit1067 CGI quality is a better on Minis One, but movement wise, MO had some jank. Especially in his atomic breath. Also, how is Legendary a copy paste of the '54 Godzilla when he has a more original design than MO and is being used in a more unique way. If anything, MO is a copy paste of Gojira.
@@dudeman7826 looks more fictional. Bro broked physics needs a bit more real bud. With that huge weight nobody can move fast. Japanese godzilla much better and is bit real atleast. U guys make movies look like a cartoon. That american godzilla running and jumping on cities is crazy
@@hit1067 godzilla minus one is 165 feet tall and weighs 20000 tons, Godzilla minus one already broke the laws of physics by being that big, nothing realistic about that lmao
I mean, godzilla as a character exists solely because of Japan's relationship with nuclear weapons and nuclear energy, _they haven't had a good history with it_
@@blackrose8418talking about how legendary could have done better than a movie with only 15 million dollar budget while they had a 150 million dollar budget.
@guanabana7760 the budget is not just used for one asset you know that right? Matter of fact Godzilla wasn't in a lot of scenes in Godzilla x Kong sk most if that budget most likely went to everything else like kong himself and the star king, shimo, etc
Gak tau kenapa Godzilla 1998, lebih realistis. Padahal melenceng jauh dari cerita aslinya. Mungkin kalau bukan namanya film godzilla, diganti dengan attack of monster, masuk-masuk aja tuh film.
@@YomamaYodaddyYobjtchassGranny Okay, I shouldn’t have said it like Godzilla would have just completely died out, but Legendary’s movies did in fact earn Toho millions and they even loved the movies.
American Godzilla: I'm a lizard that needed 150 million dollars of budget for my movie. Japan Godzilla: I'm a lizard that can dropkick and needed literally 10% less of a budget.
@@jayjosephdy5596 the American Godzilla movies has not been the same since the first 2014 one. The rest are so childish like why is Godzilla moving in a way where he’s a marvel character and jumping around like he’s spiderman!? 😂 this isn’t what Godzilla is. Warner bros, producers, and directors of the movies after the first one has ruined the American franchise. We NEED A NEW MOVIE one more evil setting like Japanese that will make huge money. I think we Americans should take some advice from minus one instead of throwing money around just bc we have better CGI doesn’t mean we have a better movie….
@@racingislife7916 i agree. 2014 was so good. You can feel his weight how he shake the earth when he step. Now they make his like a roo, can jump and all. Very agile
@@racingislife7916you’re fan of 2014 Godzilla only. You’re not a true Godzilla fan, otherwise his movements wouldn’t be something you’d complain about given the history of the character on film. The monster-verse balances a fun/series Godzilla.
@@-Anonymous-. no not only do I not like his movements but I don’t like the plot and character of the Warner bros movies. It’s just not the same as Japanese. What’s so hard for Americans to create a good evil Godzilla for say ex: 1998 Godzilla he attacked New York City and yeah she/he was small but definitely a great plot and many can relate bc it’s a known city and it would definitely be cool to see how we would react to such a creature unknown to us. I mean look at minus one he didn’t fight any monsters just destroyed some stuff and the military kind of but they made millions of dollars off it they also made him terrifying. I wanna see this for American Godzilla.
Laser is not a charge, it is atomic breath. All godzillas use atomic breath. Legendary Godzilla, in the new movie released 1 month ago in 2024, now uses heat rays, that is, laser, like Superman. It feeds on the radiation of the sun. Minus One's atomic breath has the effect of a small atomic bomb.
