After going to two other Suzuka tracks, will you finally get to Suzuka motor land where we see lots of MR, 2‘s drifting and road racing with groups from Navis intermediate an expert all the way to formula D and D1 Grand Prix . On the road iPhone edit. we give out stickers and beef jerky.

There's a drift group called SONICBOOM over there in Japan, all they slide are aw11s and sw20s, really cool video dude, thanks for sharing the experience 🤙🤙

For those who have seen it, I started drifting in an SW21 in 2003 when I started learning about drifting while going to school at Universal Technical Institute. It was the 5SFE engine with auto. It is too long of a story how I ended up with what was as bland as an MR2 can get, but it was all I had to drive and I couldnt stop thinking about the Option videos I saw of drifting between classes. In the summer of 2004, it was almost every night on the downhill mountain pass just north of Phoenix Arizona, I was able to experience the MR2 in a whole new way with more speed. I had several close calls, but in the end, I never was able to improve the car's performance with the income I had at the time. I wish I stayed with the car and took drifting with it more seriously. Thank you for sharing this video because it makes me feel good seeing others performing very well with the MR2 in drift💯❤

It’s never too late to jump back into it! Only thin I’m sure MR2s are way more expensive

Hello I was wondering how were you able to drift with the 5sfe since the hp was around 130hp only, wouldn't it be hard to actually start spinning it? I have a 91 mr2 5sfe manual. I got no power steering tho lol.I would love to here what you did to do it

It is a lot of flicking and catching the momentum. Timing the line so you can stay WOT as long as possible. Having figured out a tire I like helped a lot. Got an alignment that favored a more sensitive steering input with a little more grip control in the rear. Playing with psi and simple mods like strut tower brace. I was on stock suspension. Believe me, if I had the money, I'd have done so much more, but I was irresponsibly poor in those days. I just learned to make what I have work.@@phantomthao1514
