@@fittek711 Not only that but it is Defyn too. After a certain amount of time you learn how to push your pilot to the very edge without having him lose consciousness.

Yes I just got it and checked to see if he made a video but nope. Hope he does! It's not that bad I get an average of 1-3 kills a game and no not all with the R60s

@@jaiiii116 Maybe it's just my luck but the fact that it cant really turn and everyone has flares while you don't, almost next to impossible to use especially cuz of the uptiers, but maybe its just skill issue thats why i want a video on it

@@sharkao2686 it's hard to use but the best way to play that I found is when you take off go to one side (preferably one with hills to go behind so you don't get spotted) and stay low, the yak38 is best at low alt and you flank all the way behind the enemies and fire the R60s at distracted/un aware players then use your gun on slower vehicles like A10s, I usually get like 1-3 kills doing this every game. Also if you get chased by someone your best bet is going vertical dodging guns and activating VTOL, I've killed several F-5s and F-104s doing this, its not a good idea to do it if more than 2 people are behind, even when there's 2 it's risky but it's worked almost everytime for me. Fyi I have 2 Loadouts I use,#1 one S5k rocket pod on outer right pylon and the rest with R60s (you can use rockets as flares lol),#2 2 gun pods on inner pylons and R60s on each outer pylon (gun pods are very powerful in head on and gives you alot more ammo to ground pound to get more points while enemies RTB/camp AF) Hope this helps lol it took a while to type...:)

I think if he really tried he could be really effective in sim. All he would need to learn is how to use a joystick, rudder, and track ir. At the start, he wouldn't even need track ir.

He played IL-2 when he was a kid, he said that in one of his 190a8 vids. He doesn't need to pick up any new skills to play sim.

I would love to see a match between DEFYN and Growling Sidewinder or LongShot.

mlu and adf are the same flight performance wise , a/aj have better flight performance they go like 1423kmh sea level while the mlu/adf is 1414kmh . the a/aj are going to have better dogfight performance but i dont have the data on how much better they are over the mlu/adf im pretty sure its a slight increase though

Yeah, if anything I'd expect the ADF to perform better thanks to its noticeably bigger elevators, even if it's very slightly heavier.

The A flight model has better flight performance. It pulls 1 more G at any speed than the ADF (12 at mach 1 vs 11 on ADF on min fuel) and its about 300kg lighter so it also turns better at low speeds. The ADF has no flight performance advantages that I'm aware of, only disadvantages, despite having the bigger elevator.

adf is block 15 while A is block 10 i think. it should say on the statcard

@@_YellovvJacket_ Pretty sure A variant turns better at high speeds, while ADF turns better on low speeds, at lteast it feels like that when playing them.

@@intlon4299 No, the A has a better turn radius (~295 vs ~310m) and a better turn rate at low speed than the ADF.

I would go for the mig 29 just because of the r27s. I always lose dogfights to mig29s because of those damn missiles.

The regular one is the same with more ammo per gun and less burst mass Other than that theyre the same The B20 isnt worth the br bump imo but is still useable if you struggle with kills

Ive been going drop tank and 20mins. Having low fuel in the F16 turns it into an absolute monster. I just don't afterburn full throttle towards the fight.

Gaijin said that they didn't do that because it would have caused issues with landing gear damage effects a la landing gear falling off when damaged.

@@rainsilent only if you're an idiot with landing, I think it's worth the trade and should force people to land well, and you're anyways going to land with the missiles already spent

@@evo3s75 No. The entire issue is if the landing gear is damaged while in combat and with the missile still on the pylon. My guess is that it would then cause the missile to go off and then kill the plane.

The sparrows there were just for show, they would ditch the idea later on.

​@@ricardohumildebrabo Sparrows were tested from those pylons, critical difference in this case, and issues were found (sparrow exhaust fumes entered air intake), but it was tested and proposed, google F-16AJ Sparrows and you'll find the brochure. Even if just on paper, the Yak has paper features too, so it still should have had them in-game to stay consistent. In so many words: Pair that with the Yak controversy and there's a pretty strong case. Not bulletproof case, if they remove the Yak's paper features, but until then, a strong case.

f16 is going to srtuggle a lil if your stock and your team might be dying instantly so you dont get to do much

Press your free look button. For me it’s C. It swaps your mouse from controlling your plane to controlling your camera.

Not quite, I’d say the MLU is the best version because just more countermeasures but I understand that everyone forgets it’s existence since Chinese players only play A-5C

@@AWACSR3D the advantage of the MLU is in the countermeasures as you’ve said but also the drogue chute. The Japanese one however has the better flight performance with the smaller horizontal stabilizers allowing it to pull harder than the other F-16’s minus the Netz and the F-16A. Combined with the fact that it gets to carry sparrows and its just the best F-16 in the game.

@@jaek__ The difference is an F-104 vs a plane that can actually pull G’s.

Gaijin said that they didn't add them because of potential issues with how gear damage is modeled. I'd say that it is likely you won't be seeing them any time soon if they hold to that.

@@areyou0k98 Japan got the F-16 based on a sales brochure ... soooo, with the same logic the French could get the F-15. The US even nicely painted one in French markings to attract this potential new customer

@@Sebastian-yl7nq A special variant was created and Japanese pilots were brought in to test and show off the F-16AJ, but they ultimately decided not buy it, whereas with the F-15 the idea to sell some to France was thrown out there but they weren't interested whatsoever due to them working on mirage 4000, so it's a bit of a reach for France to get one but nice try.
