I actually have a fired 30mm round. It was shot into sand and later recovered. Anyone on the receiving end of that round is going to have a very very bad day.
What does that have to do with the video? The helicopters were being flown by the JSDF during the "2013 Ground Self-Defense Force Fuji comprehensive firepower exercises." These were Japanese pilots training in their own aircraft.
