Sure its kinda minor but it makes me glad seeing people who freely jump between whatever they love. Regardless of what others think. Also maybe im biased cuz i absolutely love gyaru fashion and more gothic styles
It sounds like her parents or family really helped her out getting into modeling since she was having so much trouble in school. A lot of people just ignore the child when they act out like that and let the problems spiral.
Maybe, but her honestly believing she's a demon and going so far as to bite her fans is more worrying behavior. It's nice that she's somewhere that loves her for who she is, but at the same time it also seems to reward her more pathological behaviors. I guess in the grand scheme of things it's harmless, and maybe it's for the best it happened in Japan and not in America. When I saw this video I thought of GG Allin, who was very similar to her but far far worse and actually ended up dying from a drug overdose, though he also had promised to kill himself live on stage when he had a concert on Halloween, which didn't happen because on Halloween he was in prison and couldn't perform.
Just found this channel because of Pikarin! I love Pikarin, i'm her fan since debut 😂 and i'm glad that foreigners are making videos about her and other idols! I'm also glad to see more people getting into otaku culture outside Anime and Manga 😄

i used to follow pikarin back when she modeled for Popteen long ago! I always thought she was really really cute! She made a few songs before taking on this image that slapped, and she also had a personal blog!
Well, her first song was Shinryaku Pikarin Densetsu (Legend of the Pikarin invasion), so she put that in her music from day 1. One could even argue that all her songs as Pikarin revolve around that first song. After several of her personal songs as Hikari, I always need to go back to the early stuff, because the lyrics about herself are a bit depressing.

I found her through spotify a few years ago, I had no idea who she was, but I like metal so I followed her, life eventually brought me to her Instagram which I still follow and youtube brought this video to me and well... I like her even more. She is weird as hell _bad pun intended_ and her antics are my kind of things. Thanks for the awesome video! It's really hard to find out something about idols in Japan without knowing the language so you are doing God's work!

i ve seen her in 2016, she fight security for walk barefoot on back of her fan ;!d and the crowd choregraphy was so much fun, with hat in shape of strawberry ;D she bite me near the blood in idol village of the festival ^^ lol. yet i dont know if she is still there, but she was a great performer, and its entertaining so much of crazy stuff.
