if your just start to play this initially, wait till the demo go to TITLE SCREEN when the announcer says "Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX", during "DDR 3rdMIX" title screen, enter L-L-R-R (3rdReMIX mode) and L-L-L-R-R-R-L-R (SSR Mode). Alternatively, make a gameplay at 3rdMIX mode and NEW INFORMATION will come out telling you to press SELECT button to go to 3rdReMIX/SSR modes

most of the "Konami Original" songs except, "20,NOVEMBER [D.D.R. version]", "LET THEM MOVE", "PUT YOUR FAITH IN ME [Jazzy Groove]", "MAKE IT BETTER [So-REAL Mix]", and "MAKE A JAM!". License songs "CAPTAIN JACK [GRANDALE REMIX]" and "DAM DARIRAM" only

What exactly was the difference between 3rdMix and 3rdRemix mode? I know SSR mode forces SSR difficulty and gives the interface a reddish tint, but the rest I forgot. I just remember people picking and failing (hold start?) Get Up and Dance, then choosing 3rd Remix mode.

It's pretty same as 3rdMIX mode and 2ndMIX mode in original arcade version. The difference is that in 3rdReMIX, you can select both 3rdMIX and 2ndMIX's songs.
