to me, Tempura has always represented like a "last meal' kind of foods - it's sooooo delectable, delicious, fried and oily... you need at least the volume of tempura served of pickled, vinegary and or fresh vegetable dishes to counter balance it.

Although it may not be healthy for you I could sit and eat a pound of shrimp I like it so much. A couple years ago I was in Florida and we had shrimp one night and I was eating it faster than my sister was cooking it. It seemed like I was eating three or four pieces of shrimp to every scoop out of the pan lol

I love tempura. I did not think you would find tempura ice cream. Is the like Japan's version of the spanish fried ice cream?

For a second, I thought the tempura ice cream was gonna be like the fried Mexican ice cream served at Chi-Chis or El Torito.
