⁠@@Silvershadnic that would be an interesting theory since Eggman looks to have let himself go. My theory is that, assuming Gerald is actually alive, that he is the big bad of the movie. We obviously know that Maria is gonna die. But maybe they didn’t want to go all the way and execute Gerald. I think Gerald has maybe spent all this time wanting to exact his revenge on GUN and the world, so I think he’s the one who breaks out Shadow, and at the end we’ll get sonic and eggman vs shadow and Gerald
