This is such a great question! I have actually had no complaints about noise from other people in my apartment. The walls are thin, but thicker than you might think. Also I think I do have the ideal Japanese neighbors. They all keep to themselves and work at all different times of the day so they're usually not home (^^) Also the money from the government is only a 1 time thing, around 100,000 yen or $1000. More money would be more helpful, but I'm grateful I could get just a little! After working things out with my landlord/doing different side hustles, I'll make it through d(⌒ー⌒)
