This is one of the best songs I have ever heard. The way the lyrics and vocals mesh together and flow over the instrumental is incredible. The harmony and all the little nuances of sound. Just wow is all I can say.

I think of this song as an ode to Satoshi Kon and his masterpieces like Paprika (2006). The feeling of loneliness being a powerful source of art that’s loved by millions resonates so hard with me, so this has to be my favorite song of the year so far.

Little late to the party, but I love this song so much. Saw them preform on SNL a few weeks back & I was mesmerized. Michelle really seemed to appreciate the moment & enjoy what she does. Such a wonderful live performance. I'm forever hooked & have all their music on Itunes now. Absolutely brilliant!

The inspiration for this song was a piece called “Parade” by Susumu Hirasawa for the film ‘Paprika’. Both the song and the film are great. Both are really surreal and unconventional. I really suggest checking out Hirasawa’s work as he makes really experimental and beautiful music. He’s probably best known for composing the Berserk anime soundtrack. So glad Japanese Breakfast made this homage to the film and Hirasawa’s work.

Adorable and amazing she can sing that to music. The art of song writing and composition has no ending. I love all types of music but I never really got into the lyrics much in any genre, mainly cause I don’t understand them unless I read them- like this video. Wow.

every time im playing music my daughter yells to put jap break on...um feels like captain mel stubing is on acid or somthing and these lyrics....sigh. open the flood gates and there is water ?!? :/ if this is your thing your really missing out
