Landed house has its problem too especially dangerous with cars moving outside the gate. Inside a condominium children can safely walk around the building in different floors. Also cleaning and repairs is more work for landed house. Most condos have nearby shop but for landed house you might need to drive out everytime to get something. Landed house have abit more privacy but it is less convenient.

Noise is a problem in new condo, people move in slowly, and alot of dust. Condo not like last time, once ready all move in at once, noise will go off after 1-2 years. Now new condo continue having alot of noise for 3-5 years...or even more *depends area.

公寓的管理部门很重要，有效率的管理部门也会住得安心。

Kaori San! In Hong Kong, Singapore and CBD Kuala Lumpur, offices, hotel and some condo do SOUND PROOFING. Basically this are panels to absorb sound and attach to walls. Some building uses Sound proof window panels. (Landed property seldom has such problems BUT installing such will cause noise to other residents). Yes! 😊 Big homes are a real CHORE to clean! And the bathroom so different from Japan especially the TOILET BOWL. (So nice Japanese electric toilet 🤣)

With newer development, generally you get smaller property size compared to older development. As someone who works in construction and renovation field, the first few years moving into a new development, it should be expected to live with dust and noise as people starts moving in and doing renovation works. Also people tend to think moving into new condo you don't have to worry about fixing things but new construction also tend to have a lot of defects and you need to settle it before the DLP period. Living in condo is nice cause you have all the amenities and no need to worry about the maintenance whereas living in landed, you can park your car right in front of your house which is very convenient especially if you have a lot of groceries and parcels lol

Singapore also has a lot of noisy constructions especially annoying during WFH in HDB flats. Some area you may hear noisy jet fighters flying over the flats.

新建的公寓楼比较没有装修噪音的问题，也不一定全新，3，5年楼龄都不会有太多业主花钱做大改动，Kaori下次搬家前可以注意一下。

the noise problem it's not only in a apartment, but i admit living in apartment much noisy than in the landed house because of populations density in the building. I'm staying at SS2, Petaling Jaya, landed house, here I'm also facing the same problems. one house behind and another 3 in front of my house is under big renovation. it seems that Malaysian is not affected by this pandemic, I mean most of them, I'm poor

I live in a landed property outside KL within a suburb with a garden, plenty of fruit trees and other plants and lots of grass and space and I'm thinking of moving to a condo 😅...too much maintenance to handle if youre in your 60's. Hope you find your dream house 👌

Mine place here, there a two unit always have competition bang door no matter what time even 2am-6.30am they can open and closed the door like they only person living in that area. Sometimes people walking or running, but this place is more active after midnight.. sometimes hearing knocking moving the table sound.. problem is this happens after midnight... More worse at this MCO when everyone stay at home. Why nowadays people are less consideration mostly youngsters.. I almost got heart attack everytime sleeping..

Renovation noises is unavoidable, perhaps lesser for old condos compared to newly VP condos where most units will do some kinda renovations to move in faster…unless u choose a condo dat comes with designer fully furnished to all units dat required or forbid any kinda noisy renovations taking place.

sounds very familiar! in singapore, for past 10years sg gov wanted to build MRT lines pan island, whole tiny nation is full of constructions non-stop, very very serious noise pollution, thick dark smoke, condone with high zinc plates, dust, stones pebbles in the air ! each time i go outside riding inside bus or car, when i reach my destination, but i saw outside SO POLLUTED, i decided to change plan and stay inside bus or car, dont alight, dont dare step out, can die ! still 10, 20years to go ! but singapoleans no dare say a word !

一般上比较新的公寓就比较少昆虫，停电，制水等问题，至于装修的噪音那得看运气了，我这里倒没有这个问题

我目前住在KL一带的公寓，灰尘非常多，也遇到过很多没些素质的居民（多是些租客），经常往阳台丢烟头，倒垃圾倒水的 还弄脏了晒着的衣服。。。

that's lucky my condo don't allow any renovation during mco period.

a condo with 1500sqf, it's a condo which most average people can't afford because of high market price & high maintenance fees/management fees bugs problem get lesser if you live in a higher floor condo

For noise maybe get safety ear muffs or soft foam ear plugs :D

if no noise (not mean to midnight) or nobody renovation means nobody invest or buy or move in to this condominium. means, only your family lonely staying in this condo thus will even worst condition. Density of condominium also need to consider before you move in. My opinion, leakage is sure happened in any condo or high building especially old building 10years above. So age of of building also important. 1500sq ft for 4pax is not enough especially if your kid growing up become adult time. then u will know the feeling NARROW😂😂😂😂 Guess u need to find a proper and strong management to manage the building. Suggest you become chairman of committee amongst residence , so that your condominium can improve 🤣🤣🤣🤣 jia you

好的公寓鄰居可以讓人如沐春風，相安無事；惡劣的尤其是你單位上面一層的住戶，真有生不如死的精神疲勞轟炸。對方要怎麼過日子確實是他家的事，可是我們要如何過生活卻跟對方息息相關！出面好言相勸，對方還是繼續過他選擇的作息方式，超級無力無奈和無言！

Malaysia construction design is funny. Outside material is same as inside that why a lot of hacking during renovation. I mean inside wall can be of lighter material. Seriously Singapore, Melbourne or Japan is better place to stay.

會有壁虎嗎？聽說泰國會有壁虎跑進家裡！而且很大隻的！

我们这里的问题是小孩子太吵、在阳台上喊、走廊上玩耍、有人开歌bass很大声、上下左右偶尔会有人吵架，而且是半夜、还有隔壁楼下抽的烟都会飘进我们的unit。是真的好多坏处啊。唯一的好处就是比较安全。

Malaysia condominiums can be very bad or very good depend on the JMB, the maintenence. However, speaking from Japanese point of view. But why complain so much? Size, density and compactness of Japanese condominium are worse even though the environment is clean. I really think Japanese generally cannot accept others nut only Japanese made. If so then Malaysia is not the place for you to live in. Our condominium and room size design are to suit local market not foriengers.
