So many people saying Japanese don't like sweet stuff but I had enough drinks and food in Japan that I could not eat because it was waaaaay to sweet ... funny enough I also brought sweets over which in my opionon weren't that sweet where Japanese who liked that overly sweet stuff they had said it was to sweet oO
Perhaps the drink is sweet because you didn't mix it? Aren't you supposed to mix the drink so the layers mix? 🤔 The snacks looked scrumptious. I think it is hilarious when you eat the snack, you talk about adding maple syrup to it, but maple syrup is sweet. LOL! Or maybe you are wanting the flavor of the maple syrup. Anyway, yet another episode that made me hungry. Thanks, John!

@@onlyinjapanGO I was on the phone with my parents in Calgary earlier today and they mentioned that some friends of theirs had travelled to Tokyo to run the marathon, I sent them your video from yesterday, maybe they'll get lucky and spot them.
The funny thing with my accent is I’m born and raised in the south and still live here but I have family in Columbus Ohio, and all over the south and in upstate New York , when I visit the north they all say I have a thick southern accent but when I talk to southerners they think I’m from the north 😂
my sister and i went to Japan in February while we were in Nara we stopped at the local Starbucks and tried the seasonal items. She had a Sakura Latte and I had the Sakura Frapp an Chiffon cake. We recommend both if they're still available.
