I tell this to people all the time: get either a SUICA or PASSMO card for public transit. Saves you alot of time and $$$. And you can get anywhere with the card, u can even use it as money in convenience stores.

Yes! And don't forget: when you know you're not going to use it again, like for example, after you've gotten off what you know will be your last train ride before you leave for your flight home the next morning go to the refund counter at the train station and get your SUICA card deposit back. That's ten quid you're leaving on the table otherwise-- and the limousine bus to the airport will be around ten bucks so hey, bonus, you can go and buy your ticket for that with the deposit refund. Organisation master, supreme victory!

The fried dumplings bao with soup inside is callled Shen Jian Bao. Here’s a tip whenever I eat any soup dumplings. Blow, bite a little bit of skin, blow and slowly sip the soup. Then dip it in soy sauce or the condiment of your choice and enjoy. It’s what I’ve done for the last 6 years and it’s truly delicious

Chonny! Just buy a suica card instead of paying everytime for the train ticket. You can load the card and just beep through. Same with the added fare if u have one

some of the tips here are passe . whichever city you touch down , buy the transport card. the deduction is automatic and you can check the balance of value in your card. you can top up the value of your card so easily.

if you guys go to japan often, you guys can get suica where it’s a prepaid card and you would recharge it too and u can just tap your way in and out the station and u can also use it at certain convenience stores as well

Public transit in Norway is even easier! You just pay for your ticket for bus, train, or tram on your phone with an app and you can travel (1 hour, 1 day, or 1 month tickets available)

Chonny, next time you visit Japan, go to Sannomiya (in Hyogo prefecture). There are sooooo many things to do there and try Ramen Tarou there. You'll think Ichiran is chump ramen afterwards.
