ALL HAIL THE CONVENIENCE STORES IN JAPAN!! In today's video we show you why everyone is obsessed with convenience stores here! For starters, THEY HAVE EVERYTHING (okay, basically everything) you could ever need while on the road. Plus, they have some freaking delicious food + treats! Not to mention, you can purchase tickets here, pay for utilities, print off pictures, go to the ATM, and more all while here!! Oh, and we can't forget the bathrooms- so convenient!

When we moved back from Munich where all the stores close at 8pm and on Sundays, the 24/7 always open conbini is an amazing luxury. As it gets hotter nothing is quite like hopping around the corner in a hot summer late evening and getting a fruit smoothie, brewed ice coffee, or seasonal ice cream 🙂

I'm Japanese who lives in Seattle for 23 years. I love 711 in Japan and I miss it so much. I'm really disappointed 711 in US. No progress in last 23 years!

Hello lovely family, really enjoyed reminiscing about Japan’s convenience stores with you. Quite surprising to find so much variety, great treats, fresh food , and bakery items. Everywhere I stayed, it was something you could depend upon. Thanks for sharing 😍😍

Awesome video! "Nihon no conbini" is saikou! , the best! I also am a frequent conbini bathroom customer when in Japan. Nice to have that peace of mind that you don't really have to worry about it. :) All those food you picked for tasting..looked soo good! Did you have your favorite?

8:45 The other day, it was a hot topic when a German complained that "Japanese ppl use too much plastic," and a Japanese person responded, "In Japan, things rot or mold in a day due to the humidity." Westerners need to realize that the world isn't just Europe and that there're environmental differences. My German car's power windows failed every month, and mold grew on the ceiling becuz it wasn't built for humidity.🙄

Amazing selection of EVERYTHING! There aren't too many 7/11s left around in my part of Texas, but we do have Buckees 😂... In fact it started not real far from us.

@@OurStorytoTell it's a whole world to itself... shop for souvenirs, an assortment of food, bbq, tacos, fudge, fresh fruit, ect... plus a bunch of different coffees and sodas... it's HUGE!!

An egg salad sandwich is one of my favourite sandwiches. I often make one at home with a fresh boiled egg, mayo and chives. If I have them handy, I also throw in a few fresh prawns.

Yeah, those Japanese convenience stores are AMAZING (with clean bathrooms,etc.)! However, I'm curious about the white collared business shirts and socks available (2:11). I mean, do the convenience stores have them for men who are over 6 feet (182.88 cm) tall or over US size 10 (Japanese size 277) feet? That could make a difference for larger and taller North American and European men on vacation in t-shirts and flip-flops who've gotten invited to dine in formal establishments. Thanks for this information,though!

日本のコンビニでシャツと靴下が売ってるのは、バカンスとの切り替えではありません。ビジネスの出張や徹夜、稀に女性と一夜を過ごした人が購入するのではないでしょうか。バカンスとの切り替えだったら、スーツと革靴まで販売してないと。シャツに短パンとサンダルでは不格好です。ちなみに、ゴルフ場の近くにあるセブンイレブンだと、ゴルフボールが売っています。

Goood point! We should have looked at the sizes haha! Sizing does run a bit small in Japan compared to what we are used to in the States so there isn’t a big chance of that we assume!

My favorites are curry-pan, nikku-man. My wife just went to Tokyo and I asked her to bring back some goodies. Egg salad sandwiches are easy to make at home. I wished we had cs. in Germany, but no chance because of the strict opening laws.

Today I've told with a tourist who works in an US base in japan. When we were talking about 7/11, I askd him "Which 7/11 do you prefer ? US or Japan ?". He replied "Here japan !" very quickly likes conditioned response. lol. He said "I espicially like fried chicken ( 8:09 ) it's so good. And coffee is also good. But I missed slurpee."

I love visiting supermarkets in other countries 😅 you just never know what you might find 😜 The Egg & Strawberry sandwiches looked so Fluffy see a few others try them ( i follow a few FA out USA. They had a few Trips to Japan. They tried those sandwiches was a Great hit with them plus very quick and convenient Snack 😜) Great video 🥰

What, no chili/cheese nacho machine? We had to stand outside eating our nachos in the rain. I guess as a policy 711 doesn't want people sitting and eating inside or out.

I won't lie, I wish American 7-11's were on a par with Japanese 7-11's. To be fair, I would I also love having other convenience store chains like Sheetz or Wawa or Buckee's in my area, if only for some Combini variety.

We have never heard of Sheetz or Wawa! We know Buckee’s is huge and very popular! We need to visit one sometime!

@@OurStorytoTell Sheetz and Wawa are on the East Coast. I think they originated in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I know that Wawa has really good Hoagies/Sub Sandwiches.

All places I have been to the strawberries are at least 600yen.. and fruits in general is 2-3 times more expensive than Denmark ;_;

So interesting! Strawberries in our area range from 200-600, but typically 300-400 yen! Cheaper then we were used to in Germany regarding strawberries. I wonder if the location in Japan has a big difference? We will be coming out with a grocery store video showcasing prices on a month or so 😊

日本のマナーでは、商品を会計前にしつこく触る行為は、嫌がる人が多いので、しないほうが良いと思います。（絶対買う物でも・・・）会計が済んだのなら別に構いませんが・・・あと、子供だからある程度は許してくれるかもですが、日本のお店（特に飲食店）では、走り回ったり、大声出すのはNGです。 In Japan manners, many people dislike the act of persistently touching the product before payment. I think it's better not to. (Even if it's something you will definitely buy...) It doesn't matter if you've done the accounting, but... Also, because I'm a child, I may be able to forgive you to some extent. In shops (especially restaurants) in Japan, running around and shouting are not allowed.

I concerned same thing, too. Also I saw a lot of bad manners. Did you guys buy all staffs you touched??????And a little girl was so loud noisy. For us, Japanese they were so uncomfortable and annoying.

もちろん日本のコンビニのトイレ🚽は無料ですが、マナーとして日本人は、店のStaffに先に「トイレ🚽使わせていただけますか？」と一声かけてから使います。もっと言えば、①ペットボトルの飲み物とかでいいので何か購入してから→②Staffに「トイレお借りしていいですか？」→③汚さないように綺麗に使う→④Staffにありがとうを言うか会釈するかをして店を出る。という流れが通常、日本人が考えるマナーです😊 （②→③→①→④という順番になることもあります。）

do you know? In the 1990s, 7-Eleven in the United States came close to bankruptcy. Seven-Eleven Japan helped Seven-Eleven in America. If Seven-Eleven Japan hadn't helped Seven-Eleven in America, I don't think there would be any Seven-Elevens in America today. Remember that American 7-Elevens are subsidiaries of 7-Eleven Japan.
