Thanks Ken sensei and Yusuke sensei! You guys made me LOL. First, with Ken's sad story about Taiwan Ramen, lol, then with Yusuke's story about people who don't like takoyaki. For me, I like takoyaki only if accompanied with beer. As for noodles, I agree that ramen is best once a month at most. My favorite Japanese noodles are, first, soba, followed by udon. I also like soomen but have less experience with that. I love oden 🍢😋
To be fair to the U.S.A., let's remember that there are different levels of sushi. There are places in Los Angeles (and probably Seattle, Portland and other large California cities and New York where the quality of sushi would blow your mind. Then, at the other end of the spectrum, you find sushi at food buffets with avocado, spicy mayonnaise and bacon. So yeah.
