Just found your channel kuya Mel! I'm getting back into bonsai after having to sell my trees in the past and your content is inspiring! I'm local to North San Diego also, great to see our area represented so well!
Hi Joshua, thank you so much! I’m like you, I was off and on sa bonsai, I lost some trees as well. Good thing I have a few left when I got back, and now it’s permanent. Because it’s really addicting. I love SD, it’s very nice. Take care!
Wonderful tour, thanks Mel. I tend to lean more towards a natural looking tree which mimics its full grown counterpart. Many of the Japanese style bonsai appear too contrived, much like topiaries.
Thank you for the video.Interesting but, in my opinion, this Japanese garden has too many empty spaces and there is a sense of caos. Have a nice day, Claudia
Hi Claudia, Yeah, you’re right, it’s not really that authentic. There are a lot more Japanese garden here in LA, I will pay a visit and check it out. Have a wonderful day!
Greetings Mel. Hope all is well out on the left coast. Wondering if you’re still doing videos. It’s been a while. Your subs miss them. Keep growing. Thanks
Hi Matt, thanks so much, yes, I will still do videos, just right now I’ve been really busy working, there are times that my wife water my trees. Hopefully this coming cooler season I’ll be able to make more videos and updates of my trees. Regards, Mel
