Mana, did you know you can upgrade the rice in the sweet and sour chicken dish to egg fried rice? You should try it! It adds a qhole different dimension to the dish. More oishi! 😋

I agree! Chowking has the best halo halo in the universe! I miss Chowking in the Philippines. Here in the US Chowking menu does not taste the same. I miss their egg fried rice and just about everything there is good and affordable.

Chinese food has some similarities to Japanese food. In fact, some Japanese food are uncannily adopted from the Chinese due to Japan's experience during the Nara period when it had extensive relations with the Chinese empire back then. This partly explains the Chinese connection with the Japanese. Mana-chan, I do hope you really liked Chinese food.
My favorite fast-food restaurant in the Philippines is Chowking and Mang Inasal. And the best Halo-Halo is in Chowking🥰. The third one is Popeye chicken with spaghetti.

I like the halo-halo and buchi. I don't know if they still have chopsuey, that was good. I miss the congee :( And the veggies with oyster sauce, Their milk tea was good before, I think they have a new one, I want to try it. I like the sweet and sour pork, haven't tried the chicken yet. Chowking siomai is pretty good.

Earlier we ate in Chowkinq and i ordered sweet and sour but fish and chao fan with pineapple juice. Enjoy stayinq mana. Maybe you should try the lauriat.. it is combination of fried rice, chicken, siomai, chicharap, pancit and buchi.
