This is so good. It's so clear and I feel like I understand 90% of it which makes me very happy - but I know your excellent pictures are helping quietly! You're very good at helping people learn.
So cute. Thank you for putting so much work into these lessons. Not just the clear explanations and the cute animations but you also put some jokes in there that make it funny and even make me laugh each time. Hats off to you
Great video!! 😊💖 Your teaching is so clear and the cartoon/animation always manages to convey the meaning of the conversation even though I don't always understand 100% of the spoken language. I hope to see more of your content in the future
This channel is so motivating. Im learning japanese and recently passed Jlpt N4. Im glad i can understand almost everything in these Videos. And midori is so cute❤
Midori is my fav character ❤his sense of humor makes it easy to learn, really fun❤ Thank you so much. Can you do one for people on an airplane? Airport? Arigato gozaimasu 😂

Yay! This helps me learn how to make curry and rice. It's not something that my family ever ate when I was a child, so I wasn't sure how to cook it. But I am learning through Cat's Japanese channel and Japarrot's channel. :D
So much content here. I am improving my grammar, vocabulary and reading all at once. The cartoon is really cute too. A brilliant way to learn, thank you!
3:47 Today's dinner is curry! 4:05 First of all, we cut the onions. 4:42 That's a Japanese leek (spring onion) 4:47 This is the onion. 4:54 Do you cut it with scissors? 4:58 We cut it with a knife. 5:03 Midori, can you do it? 5:07 Yes, I can do it. +exp (can: marked with particle 'ga'/ remember adjectives which represent ability and preference are always followed by 'ga') 5:23 Midori can cook. 5:28 Billie can surf. 5:48 Wow, that's impressive! You're good at it! 6:06 I shed tears. 6:25 When you cut onions, tears come out. 6:35 Next, we cut the carrot and potato. 6:56 Well then, we stir-fry the meat. 7:10 Poor thing. 7:20 Hey! What are you doing? 7:49 We also stir-fry the vegetables. 7:56 After that, we add (put in) water. 8:19 +exp Conjunctionns for explaining procedures: First of all->Next->Then->After that (Then/after that informal&formal ver.) 8:48 Should I add all? 8:56 Well then, we simmer it for about 20 minutes. 9:26 It smells good! 9:30 Have you already gotten up? 9:47 +exp to make the past tense of the verbs: masu->ma shi ta 9:53 I get up at six. 9:57 I got up at six. 10:13 It's done. 10:18 I cut the onions. 11:40 I stir-fried the meat too! 11:44 Wow, Midori, you're good at cooking.
Thank you very much for your videos ^^ I teach Japanese and I try to use your videos in my lessons, as they are a fun way to learn. My students love them!
Japarrot I think is one of the best things out yhrrr for learning Japanese. I do think she could do sone easy shorter ones because there’s just so much to take in
Thank you for your comment and feedback! I'll take note of that and I'll consider making shorter videos which teach easy and concise grammar in the future. Thank you again for your feedback!
Your English is very good! I read your description and saying "marked with the particle" is something an English speaker would say even if "marked by the particle" is technically more correct. They both work in this context 😊
The best videos for learning on the entire internet! Most are too difficult to understand, even tho I have been studying for 2 years but I don't get much listening and speaking practice 😢 These videos are wonderful and make learning fun! Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
It's 10/10 for me. Please make more videos it's helpful and awesomely fun. I never get bored listening and understand almost everything just by listening.
