watching your hauls of japanese manga got me into getting baki and hajime no ippo in japanese, now these mammoths of battle series will sit proudly on my shelf!
I know this video is a little old, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who buy JP manga even though I can't read 90% of it! I like how much cheaper the manga is, how more detailed the books are + I love to directly support the authors this way as well. Thanks for posting your hauls, it's always interesting to see what other people buy and collect!

You have the best battle shounen manga haul I know of! Everytime I see one of your videos, I want to put some of those exciting looking shounen manga in the basket of my online shop of choice. For example, Moebana looks quite interesting, so does Gachiakuta! I've started buying Dandadan in French thanks to you and I enjoy the insanity at display 🙂 Oh my god, I need this Spy x Family fanbook! The illustration under the dusk cover and Loid's comment is hilarious. I also like the color illustration of the main trio on the back of the first page, it looks quite dynamic. It depends on the manga what level you need to be at. For most slice of life mangas generally n3 should be enough to understand. If you going with more complex manga something like AOT this is something that takes even native speakers a while so your level will have to be much higher to read this. But typically SOL + shounen series are much easier and usually have furigana (a reading of kanji) which makes them a breeze to read through. Sorry for rambling 😂
Everything I have in my collection is stuff that I really like so I don't plan on selling anything anytime soon tbh. Plus I live in Europe so shipping may be complicated xD.
Depends what store you buy them from. I buy my stuff online. All brand new manga from the publisher Kodansha in Japan come shrink wrapped for example. For my videos I remove the plastic wrapping. Brand new manga from other publishers are typically not sealed. Now, if you buy directly from physical stores in the country of Japan, then yes, they seal everything there in plastic.
