I got the French Volume 42 Collectors Edition although i cannot read in french the temptation of the insane box set with great tarot cards was irresistable now im searching for this the way French releases these are making me jealous
Yeah, I saw the tarot card edition, but I didn't buy it myself. Unfortunately the French limited edition for volume 41 seems to be out of print and much harder to find nowadays, but maybe you can get it from a second hand seller on Amazon.
@@SaberStash what do you think of the tarot edition and is it limited too? if i had 41 one i probably wouldnt buy it but wanted at least one of those beauties on my berserk shelf
@@Mehmet-uj5fn I have the limited edition for volume 41 so I did not feel like it was necessary to pick up volume 42 since I am not interested in Tarot cards. Volume 42 is a nice edition and from what I have seen yes it is limited, but it will probably take some time until the stock runs out.
@@GGs-c1u Yes in Japan manga magazines are printed on cheaper paper since they're meant to be recycled as new issues constantly come out each week or month.
@SaberStash thank you for showing us this fantastic artbook!!🤩 The first volume is beautiful, (I saw your other video, and again, thank you for showing us that first volume too), although this one seems even more spectacular. ✨✨✨ I have already asked in my bookstore if it is possible to place an order for the second volume, because, seriously, it has been love at first sight since the first illustration❤. Also, your video has made me want to catch up with the manga!!😋 And by the way, do you have any other artbook with which to make a new Flip Through video?🤔
I remember finding this edition in my local bookstore and i freaked out, its been 1 year and a half and i still didnt open it so thats why i watching this video
so cleannn broo. i think i'll start collecting japanese manga. i usually read online anyway but I do wanna learn Japanese at some point. Think this will give me another reason to start learning it
The one shot collection from the author has unfortunately not been released in English yet. Online I could only find translations for two of the oneshots, one of them Kagarigari and the other one Haeniwa no Zigzag, you can find these two if you search online.
I love seeing the Japanese manga right here It’s so much more better than the English counter parts because Japanese manga is always in print all the time. But great collection aswell.
I also live in Europe! I've been wanting to get the Italian Gon box set, but I've been having difficulty finding it, probably because I don't speak Italian and thus can't really use any Italian websites. How do you go about getting manga from countries that you don't speak the language of? (Assuming you don't speak German, French AND Italian and maybe just one of them?)
Hi! I bought mine from Amazon Italy since the shipping is the cheapest that way. It says on your YT profile that you live in the Netherlands so you can use this link to get it, but you need an amazon account: www.amazon.nl/dp/8834902343/ The amazon Europe websites are cross linked with each other, so if you have an account on amazon Netherlands or Amazon Germany, it should also let you log in on amazon Spain or amazon Italy for example. Then you can go to amazon Italy and search for the specific manga you want and it will list results. If the item is available on amazon.it, chances are it may also be available directly from amazon.nl, so you can just change the URL from .it to .nl and it will redirect you to the item page in Dutch. If the item is only available on Amazon Italy and it ships to your country, you can just log in on amazon Italy and buy it to your address, but you'll need to navigate the site in Italian if that's the case(you can use an automatic browser translation tool, for example Google Chrome has one incorporated and you can right click to translate the page you're on to your native language. Hope this helped, have a nice day!
It depends on the manga what level you need to be at. For most slice of life mangas generally n3 should be enough to understand. If you going with more complex manga something like AOT this is something that takes even native speakers a while so your level will have to be much higher to read this. But typically SOL + shounen series are much easier and usually have furigana (a reading of kanji) which makes them a breeze to read through. Sorry for rambling 😂
i'm just a passing fan of this series, but since the anime changed the story, and i never actually read the real story from the manga, i jumped on these when they arrived in france. kurokawa made them for us Frenchies, without hard cover, just like yours. The black and yellow with big chara just POP !! Beautiful collection !!!
Blue Exorcist is getting its 3rd season next year! Shocking isnt it 😂 I hope Notogami gets the same treatment. And yes ngl having the manga in its original form is the best way to read and to keep it solid without translation errors or jankie dialogue, they also look really nice with their dust jackets. Also one last thing, have you considered collecting side story novels as well? Some are really good that add to the main line mmanga
