{GD} {DISCORD HYPESQUAD} DatSquare132 well unless u had to play it so quietly because you have to let the french horns be louder than you. #AltoSaxophone
Before Covid happened, my teacher had told all other clarinet players to switch to clarinet 2 parts. I was left as a clarinet 1 player. We went to UIL as normal, but I was freaking out because the change had been 2 days before the competition. So I had that going for me. Also, that had happened to me various of times.
Okay so literally everyone is saying they play this song in band, but has anyone just found this and not search up their band song like its such a good song and it should be recognized as one and not just a bunch of people saying they played it in band.
Last year (seventh grade) my band did this piece. It's still one of my favorites we've done so far! Ironically on your channel was "As Twilight Falls" which is another song we did along with Japanese Pictures at our competition. Man do I miss my old band members who moved on to high school!
i’ve been playing trombone for a while and song hit different when you are about to play them at a concert and you go through the whole thing perfectly. this song is one of my favorites. i played 1st trombone and i found it difficult but now (about 2 months later) it’s so easy and fun. i hate having to give back music, throw it away, or put it in my folder to never be touched again so i made a list of all the sheet music i’ve played and i’ve been listening to it. i think that it’s amazing that i remember every part, including the first ones from 6th grade
I was actually playing this for my 8th grade uil and i played clarinet!! but this was right before covid so we never got to perform this master piece :( i still am sad we never performed it and i remember playing it and i loved it
I really feel like this song hits different when you actually play it, like it gets ten times more prettier. The 7th graders at my school played it and I got to siteread it with them even though I am older and it was super fun
2:30 to the end It makes me think of two samurai's fighting with samurai swords and reaching the climax of the fight as one of them dodges the blade and strikes his sword to his enemy and wins.
