SEALED CASES VS SINGLE BOXES: . On your site, you have sealed cases costing more than buying single boxes for the same quantity (for example, shiny treasures, 20 booster boxes, sealed cases, vs 20 individual booster boxes). . Is it because of some sorting meta? "Sorting meta" as in how booster boxes have a guaranteed rarity pull per box (for example, how each booster box has a guaranteed pack that contains a SR or higher). Is it that a sealed case has a similar guaranteed of super rarity pulls (e.g., you are guaranteed a certain amount of SARs per case or something similar)? Or am I way off the mark?

Thank you for the honest discussion on cost of business. It's not just "I buy this box for X and sell it for X+ a percentage". The profit you make has to pay all those extras you talked about. It's very hard for those who do this as a side hustle to understand.

Totally get the cash flow crunch. My brick and mortar plant shop recently closed after almost five years of business, only took a few things to happen at the same time and the business become unsustainable. Hang in there, your product and transparency are great.

People either don't know or forget that in early to mid-2022, VMAX Climax was selling below MSRP in Japanese Card Shops, not just online, but in the actual stores. If a set as strong as VMAX Climax went that low, we are still in a very, very good place.

I dont know if they are at the lowest. You were able to buy wild force for 4500yen so quite a bit bellow msrp. And if shiny treasure gets as many reprints as vstar universe then it will be bellow Msrp for sure or do you see it differently? VMax Climax used to be ~ 4800yen at some point so I could imagine it going even lower than that. But I could be wrong.

3:06 Just spreading some knowledge, he said $42.50 for shiny treasures ex, I was just in Japan last week and they go for 5500 yen, 5000 if you do tax free which is $33.33. This is pretty available at convenience stores or some chain hobby stores like Book Off. Cyber judge + wild force was a bit less than $70 for the pair

The difference in quality between Japanese cards and US cards was way higher in the Sword & Shield era than in the S/V era, sometimes i prefer the US cards rather than the Japanese one now while before the Japanese were always better, i found 2 Mew ex SIR in the japanese booster box and both have a print line while i found 4 mew ex SIR in english and only 1 is off center and the brillance on the english one is better now in my opinion.

Exactly! Like Warren Buffet said “be fearful when others are greedy, be greedy when others are fearful”. I see it as an opportunity to buy, with Japanese economy and stock market 📈 raising, America is heading towards another Trump term, combined with adjusted inflation, TCG values are destined to bounce back, not modern(SV era forward) though when Pokemon company apologized for the humiliating frenzy for which kids were robbed the opportunity to play and collect by adult flippers! Long term it is bullish imho, short term investment on any subject is gambling! Be patient and love the collecting hobby, enjoy the passive value growth. It’s not supposed to be a source of income, a real job is!😅 Good luck y’all!

lol you must be new to this channel- I’m literally buying them as I get orders in. We churn 300K of boxes per month. The only thing I’m over- leveraged in is English boxes and classic collections 😂

So when we order we probably need to wait like 1-2 weeks to get the boxes lol, why not just get it from tiktok at that point haha And the reason why you don't have it on hand is probably because you are over leverage which makes your prices higher than other seller, since you need the money first from the customer before you can order.

@@BrownCLM ill explain this like a business person... I buy X for $50... I sell X for $60 .... I find out I can now buy X for $40 ... it makes more sense to change X's price to $50 - break even on the inventory i currently have, and then "buy back" what i sold at the new cheaper price. Overall, the speed of selling at break-even and then selling at profit will out-earn the price of selling at initial profit slowly.... its not arbitrary ... its math with a dollar-cost-average calculation combined with looking at previous selling data of churn . i run through excel and it separates the great businesses from the failed ones. It's why we'll be one of the 5% remaining by 2030
