Its best chace would have been on link ecu. Different alcohols act different. But e85 for example uses 25-30% more fuel on the fuel map.

Hey Sam there is a conversion that you can use old cooking oil as diesel on some old diesel cars and trucks like old french fry oil will run your car but it smells like french fries while your driving down the road thats the only bad thing about it !

Yeah the reserve tank is what like 10 liters so unless you drove it around on the empty light for a good 30km there was most likely plenty of petrol still in the tank. But way too funny 😂

That 66 looks like Everclear, but that is 95%, maybe a moonshine will work better.

In germany we have alcohol that has 98%, i think that could work very good but thats maybe not that good for the engine i though. I realy enjoy your videos, like it

Only saw the title and 10 seconds and first thought is basic Sake is usually 20-25% ethanol, it is not hard liquor. And two, even at ones with 66%, the majority of what is not ethanol is water which any car person should know does not do well in a combustion engine. Curious to watch the rest. Unless the water part is removed, it will hydro lock probably. The water will not compress and the pistons will not be happy.

Should have just put random different alcohols and chemicals in different buckets and rigged up a fuel pump and tapped into the stock system

You need something like a e-85 kit to have any chance of getting it running. People have been adding weird alcohols to gasoline for ever trying to get more power or better mileage. Dump it slowly into one of your missiles that run e-85 to burn it off.

U remember rudnic doing it to the sr20 in the mx5 they did it with vodka i think and had e85 fuel system with ecu u can tune

66° is about 33% You basically put a lot of water and a little alcohol in the tank.

(Oof, I culda told you that wasn't gonna work. I would also suggest just draining it rather than making a bigger-volume problem by adding more gasoline.) The problem isn't the alcohol, it's the water and other stuff. (If it *were* closer to pure alcohol you'd still need to keep it in range of any flex fuel sensor. You might try with purer water on a carbureted engine you can adjust the timing on.

When we run stuff on backwoods texas shine you have to increase the air intake alot. It needs a much leaner mixture to run properly

A content sensor and a ecu it might work

Try using moonshine NASCAR was founded by moonshiners and e85 is made identical
