When i came back from japan I found it hard to relax living in new york. even though i took much of their culture with me i still found it hard, so i made a small garden and it brings me right back to the calm, warm, people there.
geoffcarter i believe that you do a wonderful job in making a Japanese garden and i believe that you have a talent that is very unique and beautiful. I like your work and i would like some pointers on making a miniature or indoor japanese garden
Looks like too many different types of rock to me. I like the look of dark mulch used in contrast to the grey rock as opposed to another type of rock. The layout does look very nice though and im sure the rest of the plants helped to soften it up some.
I love it. However, its a bit too "dry" due to the constrast of the rock. IF it was my garden, im gonna get rid of the "S" middle part & replace with real water river & add more plants. Mapples.....stuffs, whatever to distract eyes views. Keep up the fantastic works sir/madam.
I totally agree with you, we were just asked to work from a plan, and then, the client wanted to buy there own plants and trees to give it their own personal touch. Geoff
We totally agree with you, every thing you say is correct, but we wee only following the clients request. They have small grandchildren and didnt want water. and it was for them to plant up their own trees & shrubs. Geoff.
omg!!! luv, luv the song... I'm not japanese but i remember this song cause my grandma use to listen it. She's also not a japanese but she's fluent in japanese language. she use to listen to all kinds of japanese music and i beleive the name of the artist is Misora Hibari if I'm not mistaken. We also have a version of this song in my language which is Palauan.Luv,luv your video as well as your work. keep it up and may god bless you:)wifeyoflazyboy:)
@eternallyminded7 Thank you for your comments, this was a brand new garden, and needed time to weather down, & establish, we worked to a plan which was given to us by the client, i would have prefered more planting of mapels etc and moving water. Geoff :O)
Sorry to hear that my friend? There are some horrible people about, and you cant have anything nice anymore. I hope you get some more, and enjoy your lovely garden. Geoff
