You guys can pronunce the Finnish words really amazingly! Japan and Finnish language must be close to each other in that way.
@House_of_Caine
@House_of_Caine 5 лет назад
The thing is, in both languages, the letters are pronounced as they are written, with very little exceptions, so mostly they are always pronounced the same way.

@@antlamaki1108 I think the French know there are silent letters in words. But in Spanish it is rather consistent, not as consistent as in Finnish, but still. Also Japanese has sometimes silent letters. For example both have word "sika," but in Japanese the i is silent in that word.

Interesting you pointed out how many items were not as sweet. Sweets and baked goods in Nordic countries are mostly less sweet than many other western countries. Many feel an aversion to candy and cakes that are too sweet and the complaint or worry that something is too sweet is a common thing to hear, guess that is why taste of licorice and sour is so popular for candy.. Hope you got some Salmiakki to try, the delicious big bad brother of licorice.

Pronounciation in Finland and Japan are quite similiar for example your " Ruis Nacho " and " Kismet " are totally on point ! Ruis = Rye = Rye nacho . I love Japan and i wish that someday on my life i would like to move to Japan, love everything about it. Perkele ! And overall you guys have had the best pronounciation so far on youtube ! I tasted NATTO and i have nothing good to say about it, Sushi Natto at Kanasawa.. bleah ! this comment is brougt to you by " STRONG ZERO LEMON " I love those and when i was in japan i sent those to finland ! It is MiG non just as you said it first

There's a trick for cracking the Mignon egg's shell. You have to refridgerate it first, and with a good crack you can basically just lift half of the shell off. Peeling a warm Mignon egg results in a lot of shards and dirty fingers.

You guys make excellent tasting videos, you can describe the tastes and textures well. - Salmiakki (salty licorice) and licorice aren't for all. For some people it is like poison and even taste it with a tip of tongue is horrible. Geisha is yes, the Japanese word. I loved geisha candy advertisements, they were Middle Age Japanese style. Mignon is said as the French word, it's not Finnish language. And it is easier to peel if it's cool, if it's warm, gets messy.

Fazer chocolates are very popular where I live; I guess they aren't just beloved in Finland, but in neighbouring countries, too! Those big Karl Fazer chocolate bars are to die for. 😍 Kind of pricey though, I haven't had one in a while... haha Pretty sure Geisha is the Japanese geisha; at least the Japanese-themed packaging implies as much. (Now that I think about it, these chocolates were my first exposure to the word as a kid.) The Mignon thing is really cool! I've never actually seen it before, but I think it's more likely to be pronounced the French way? I thought that instead of peeling off the egg shell and getting chocolate all over your hands, maybe it would be easier to just chop it in half and scoop out the chocolate lol.

So it's mainly flower based sausage pieces (meat content is like under 20%) and french fries grilled up. Super good, you still want to visit and try, beats hot dogs easily.

I should send you two some expensive chocolate. Not the store bought expensive stuff, but a store specialized in cocoa and coffee beans thats in my town. It’s an entirely different world of tastes! Dark chocolate, the REAL high quality stuff, is not bitter or dry AT ALL.

Geisha doesn't mean anything in finish. But I remember the advertisements back in the time when they first launched and there was some japanise lady in the commercial.

I couldn't help but cackling out loud, at poor Saotoshi's face, when he kept trying to eat the tiny bit of licorice, not that I can blame him! I don't like that stuff either. Poor little Cinnamon Roll Saotoshi. And Shinichi... "Sausages make me happy!" I'm sure they do, hun. -Giggles- I'm sure they do....

Hilarious. Licorice... I do believe Shinichi would like British toffee licorice because it is sooooooooo good.
