Mikey, thank you for taking me around with you. Can't go on trips with the situations out there but you are willing to go taste different cuisines and travel. I turned 80 this past year so you and Christine are my foodies that take me along. Continue entertaining us with all the wonderful food people places and cultural history.
I don't know how you feel about reading subtitles, but try watching Tzuyang on RU-vid. She lives in Korea and eats a ton of food! She is super sweet and really likes to eat. She posts videos almost daily
I recently lost the use of my legs and have used you to take me around the world while I'm pushing through PT. I live in Florida and am so excited that there are places in Miami I can visit once I'm able. Thanks for being awesome!
You'd have to give about 2 years of your life. Because the amount of calories consumed, would require for you to do a 6 hour workout every day, just to burn them off. :D
Never heard of a ramen scene in Miami but I figured anything seafood would be dope so I'm impressed with what I seen so far. Maybe I need to make a trip to Miami ❤🥰
There’s really is a “scene” for anything except cuban and seafood in Miami. However, you can find anything what if you look hard enough in the trendy areas where serious prices can be charged.

Can’t believe he is covering Miami area! Ichimi is my GO TO FAVORITE ramen place in Miami!! curry ramen is so good!! There are a lot of Asian restaurants on the east side of florida, I wished I had some on the west side but still searching! But 11/10 would recommend ichimi for sure!
I love watching Mike eat and have been a fan for a long time. He has actually inspired me to have a healthier relationship with food: I love eating good food and I began working out a lot more like him so that I can keep eating with less guilt! My only one wish is that he would learn to slurp noodles all the way down instead of constantly cutting them with his teeth. Just a personal pet peeve, I guess lol.

I love crispy pig ears. I can’t wait to try this place. I’ve only had them at Michael’s Genuine Food and Drink in Miami, but it appears that there’s a top ten list for pig ears in Miami! I guess I’ll have to rate them all.
love all Mikey chen videos. One persistent correction - the pork bone ramen broth is TONKOTSU, not tonkatsu (as misspelled in this restaurant menu)=fried pork cutlet.

I want to try that so bad The marrow reminds me when I was a child we use to cook a pork. And pour the juice in a bowl let it cool in the fridge and put it on French bread

What would I do without you Mikey? We live in the northern part of Miami-Dade county and rarely get down to Coral Gables (especially now). Even Wynwood is a stretch for us. LOL..Who knew? Noted all of these wonderful restaurants and we'll plan on getting over to them once the cases start to drop. Too far for them to deliver to us, so they'll have to wait. Nothing really wonderful as far as dumplings go in the north end. I hope you snagged some Colossal Stone Crabs while you were here!
Please visit Tampa! We have some great food! And while I do not live there anymore, I am so willing to drive there just to visit a restaurant that you recommend!
Lol well Mikey was never about the pronunciation. I believe he always says katsu instead of kotsu. It was funny when he came to Hawai’i, cause he knew he was going to butcher names. 😂 respect for just trying.

If you wanted to eat great ramen you should’ve went to 107 taste fiu and 1800 Lucky Also before you leave please do a tour of our Miami Cuban food, recommendations: Versailles, palacios de los jugos, and the best Cuban sandwiches are located at a little Havana restaurant called “Sanguich de Miami”.
