These Japanese White Oak Bo Staff are the standard for many Japanese martial arts. These Japanese White Oak Bo Staff are a lovely weapon and so versatile. Made from White Oak wood and the same thickness throughout the length of the staff. They are a tough weapon and will take some impact for partner work and drills. However, be mindful that it is wood and isn't indestructible. Wood can break so a real thumping could end up with a broken stick. Look after your staff and it will last you for years.

I own a sawmill. White oak is 100% lighter than red oak. Truckers want it on their decks because its lighter and they can haul more and save fuel.

Ooo that's super interesting, it's not what I have found between the red and white oak weapons here at the shop. We do get some super light white oak ones though
