The video I sent to Jared Gilmore when I booked him on Cameo is not from Once Upon a Time, but spoken by Pandora in God of War III, but the message it sends is relevant to the conversations I've had with Jared on GalaxyCon Live; I must have hope and believe that things are going to get better, something I struggle to believe lately because of how my brother's death, feeling dead inside almost every day, and losing someone I previously held in high regards made me feel disconnected from the world around me. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. It's just that I haven't found it yet and that I should spend more time focusing on doing what I love because I attract supportive, creative people that way.
On a positive note, when I saw Jared post on Instagram that he got engaged to his fiancé last autumn, the first thing I did was congratulate him through Cameo because I felt a comment from me would not be insufficient. I didn't hear back from him until March because he was on-and-off the app, but the fact he keeps me in his thoughts through our interactions never ceases to amaze me. If there's one thing that keeps my head up more than Jared consoling me one-on-one, it's reading about other fans that stated that they've had similar connections with him. :)
