Dont know about that. The climax of the song was pretty weak in this version, the "payoff" felt pretty empty. Klaus just owns this song, very hard to compete with him on this.

Not bad. Still, it's not really an improvement over the original singer or even different enough to be memorable. It's a straight cover. A *really good* straight cover.

I wonder, if he felt that the song style is sacred and should not be altered too much? He many times makes quite bold interpretations, so it is not that he could not have changed it. He just decided not to. Just a thought.

@@laszlocarreidas9548 I highly doubt he would have rerecorded vocals in studio, if that is what you mean. He many times records audio and video from several concerts and uses material to put together the live video. Here it looks that there is video footage from several concerts as well. Cannot say if audio is from one or several locations. If you see his Don't break my heart again live, he used audio from all concert locations, which he is pointing out during the track.

@@ecowarriorprincessx I think the opposite due to lip sync issues in several footages + studio sound quality in vocals. Such preproduction is a common practice. Nothing away from him and his talent as I earlier mentioned.

@@laszlocarreidas9548 His live vocals are always studio quality and beyond. Not sure if you have experienced him live, if not I warmly recommend, as it is truly unforgettable experience :)
