Sydney and Jarod have such a close and special bond. I am just finishing watching Season 4 Episode 17 and I don’t want the story to end. I have the two movies to watch but I have seen spoilers and I can only say. Well, they are the best relationship they had. I really wish there were more episodes. I wish they would make a new series and show us what Jarod is like as a husband and father. Even after all this time it would be a great finale!
I always found their relationship to be really interesting. Yes they loved and cared for each other but it was also toxic as well...mainly because of the circumstances. Jarod was still kept in the dark about his family & life etc. which psychologically messed Jarod up. But at the same time we know Sydney has remorse... such a shame the show was cancelled. They could have done so much with that relationship (evolution) and explored some interesting things psychologically with the characters. I think the actors were perfect casting too. It takes a special person to portray Jarod and not everyone can pull off the fine line of emotionally distant psychiatrist, caring person, quiet shame/disgust and at times, rage that Sydney has.
Bellissimo video! The Pretender è la mia serie TV preferita. La relazione fra Sydney e Jarod è la parte più bella. Proprio in questi giorni ho riguardato tutte le puntate e i due film. Vorrei tanto che facessero un reboot, affidando un nuovo ruolo anche a Michael T. Weiss, e magari a Ryan Merriman, il giovane Jarod.
