Playing against the #1 defense & throwing for 365yds with no sacks is definitely balling! I was unmistakably in awe of what I was seeing especially coming from what I thought would be a disconnected franchise under the circumstances! Devante went off but Stidham showed us something on defense that we should take to heart! You never underestimate your opponent especially in the NFL! Our secondary is our Achilles heel no doubt & going forward we've got to fix that deficiency because it's not getting any easier! Great game & way to battle through adversity Raiders,much respect! People forget to remember Stidham played LSU/Georgia/Alabama when they were defensive beasts for a couple years.. He can play and has experience against good defenses and showed it against the 49ers

Dude was making it happen while under duress the whole time. Doesn’t matter that the 9ers got no sacks. I wonder how many pressures or hits they had. Neither of those ints are on him, first was a bobble into the dbs hands and the second his LT was thrown into his arm. He played his ass off against the best defense in the league.

As a raiders fan my homie a niners fan and we watched Brock Purdy in the preseason and said this kid HAS IT . He reminded me of Joe Montana , and when i seen him start his first game we already knew what was about to unfold but we where still amazed how he was patient and learned the Game and when his time came he was more than ready. Now as for Jarret Stidham , well seeing him play reminded me of Jim Plunkett . That raiders vs niners game was a great game , i honestly didn’t mind the loss, but thank you both for that moment

Considering the 49ers have the best defense in the NFL this year this just makes Stidham’s performance that much more impressive.. yea they lost but it was one hell of a game and it was actually a great idea to start him these last couple games.. let’s see if next week he’s able to prove it wasn’t a fluke.. if he does my division rival could have a decent young QB to build on. Respect to Carr for everything he’s done for the Raiders though. I always liked Carr.

If Jarret plays like this constantly the las Vegas stadium will be renamed to the stidhadium. Where the heck did he come from? He was hitting everyone with his passes rolling out and going beast mode not caring about getting hit but more of completing passes. Jarrett made Adams and waller targets and never kept his eye off of them. Hope Adams stays longer and does not leave the raiders for personal reason so that he can be apart of what just might propel the raiders next year to make the playoffs.

I always watched this dude in New England thinking he had potential, what a great performance for his first start

its been said all year, but the raiders really should have won this game. they played one of the best teams in the nfl this year, and played as good if not better in this game. mistakes and some penalties as usual was the difference. the raiders really showed their potential in this game.

When Cam was a better option then Stidham in New England! 🤣🤣🤣

That play at 2:55 when Jarrett stood in the pocket and stepped up and got nailed to deliver the pass to Adams. That’s the little things that Carr won’t do! Or running for a first down and risking your body to keep the drive going! That’s real situational football! Not just in the last two min of the 1st half or the 4th quarter.

as someone who loved carr when he was first drafted by the raiders and still respect to this day, STIDHAM reminds me A LOT of carr before he broke his leg in the 2016 season. rolling out of the pocket, scanning the field, and buying time. loved his game this past weekend! now the real test comes as teams are now aware of this guy and will be collecting tape and making scouting reports. if he continues to play with this hunger, this fearlessness, and make plays we have to keep him! as for carr, i just want to see him with a competent coaching staff so he can have some success, which is why it broke my heart when we didnt get harbaugh... look at how he made alex smith look back when he coached him on the 49ers... carr is capable of playing great, i believe in him, but its for both parties that they split, i just wish it was handled better cause it really does make me sick how the entire management of the organization treated him this year...
