JAS 39C Gripen solo display performed by pilot Martin Ramsin.
A splendid display from an F17 wing JAS 39C Gripen over P7 Revingehed at the Regiments Day(Regementets Dag), April 24th 2022.
The audio was captured with a Zoom H4n Pro with a "dead kitten" wind screen attached. The footage was captured with a Canon Legria HF G50 at 50fps 1080p.
The audio has SLIGHT and minor post processing on it to regain some power to that noise we all LOVE. Enjoy! =)

Wow!!! Sounds incredible!!!! Zoom h4n really handled the Gripen well! What software do you use for post production? that bass is fantastic :)

Yea the H4n ROXXX! I Love it! According to specs it can handle up to 140 dB SPL compared to it's big brother H6 that can only handle 125-130 dB SPL. So it was quite obvious for me on which one to choose! I use FL Studio with a couple of effect plugins to just get it right :) I recorded as you said with 96 kHz / 24 bit to have the lowest possible noise and highest possible detail. And then set the gain level to 18. After that I imported it to FL Studio and drew an automation to pump up the bass during the passes and then I threw on a compressor and automated it to do it's magic in between each pass, to gain up the general ambience a bit. But as soon as a pass is coming I slowly take the compressor out and pump up the bass as sort of a fade in/fade out between the two.

I just realized all fighters of each country or side of the world like America, Europe, and Russia look all similar. And then there's China that has all the styles and aesthetics of all fighters in the world. Lol
