Dear Mike and crew, the battery would have held a low charge in it for transpotational safety reasons. It also allows the new owner to Set the initial charge and know for their own piece of mind that the battery is charged. Oh by the way the small front axle bolt is industry standard for quick release hubs on most bikes that you get these days. In most cases it is heat treated to resist bending. Also the nuts on the ends are plastic to avoid elctrolytic corrosion. There are reasons behind everyones so called stupidity. Have fun remember when not in use, remove the battery and ensure the trminal end is covered to keep it dust free with a non conductive / static inducing material like cotton . Batteries have a tendency or corroding when left in situ.
Hey Mike, in your opinion would you change those plastic nuts for real one. I'd hate to the front wheel come off due to the plastic nuts. Thanks for showing the build.
Load this up in the back of your work van and when your at a jobsite and need small parts have Peter use it to go to the local supply when nearby. Fabricate him a little basket in the front of it. Save on gas.
Is the dice supposed to to fit inside of the copper fitting when placing front tire? I can not seem to get on. Seems like fits down in there however disc won’t go down in it.
How did you guys lock the folder (Page 7) it shows you guys had trouble with it and then the video cuts and it is good to go. I’m having the same issue.
The front retaining skewer goes opposite direction. The quick release should be other side of disk break as to Nor interfere ** ask jasion to send me a free one.
Glad I seen that and now I'm not getting it I hate that kind of axle and they have a plastic nut I think It would crack, plus they don't even fill the tire up for you I was going to buy it but not now no wonder they bring the price down
Very nice Mike. Looks like a nice bike, can’t beat the deal. You get an ebike and we get a video! Unfortunately I’m one of those guys that paid $2200. for mine but I love it! User tip, a moderate priced suspension seat post made mine more comfortable to ride.
I bought this bike after 2 weeks. I'm facing a battery and display issues. I call them so meny time's no ones want's to fix it its been more than 2 weeks, supper unsatisfied their service, please don't waste your money like me
I can verify this. My battery dies in less than 20 miles range and I got the x Hunter e bike 1400 watts that is advertised to go 70 miles on one charge. The customer service is shit. Instead of sending the return shipping label, they keep delaying and begging me to keep the bike when it's not as advertised and it's a safety hazard. Not bc of the speed but bc the seat and handle bars don't stay in place no matter how tight I set it. Jasionbike is a scam.
My observation was that if I was sent a opportunity like this I would boast about how good everything is for the next opportunity to come along. Redo the video.
Hey, at least you got instructions with your bike! Garbage company with horrible customer support. They got your money and they could care less if the bike was packaged without the tool kit, instructions, front wheel bolt and charger. I waited a month to receive the parts after multiple emails and calls, parts arrived and still didn’t include instructions. Without your video I wouldn’t have had a clue how to start the bike. Buyers beware!
